Howler Monkey, Colossal Squid, and a Tuna all come to mind.

Incidentally, how often will the transformation act up?

Rule lawyer comes as a logical form for an unreliable power.

Becoming a turtle might be fun, if it happens to come up when they need to actually be moving fast. Also, turtles are just fun in general, so there's that.

How about a tardigrade?

Hagfish, geoduck, and goldfish could be fun, though admittedly more for the other players than for her.

You mean a Koi (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Koi)?

Being Coy (http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/coy) is entirely different.

Are extinct species allowed? Probably better if they aren't, but it's still fun to imagine them becoming a giant ground sloth or a diplodocus. (Or a fasolacuchus, because everything is better with fasolasuchi.)

As for extant species, maybe a giant panda, a red panda/raccoon/anything like that and a jackdaw/crow/raven? A fox maybe? I also don't see a non-half-pig crocodile, alligator or gavial on the list yet. Or an octopus. I recommend both a giant one and a mimic. I'd also give the elephant and rhino the company of a hippo, and probably a tapir. O, and a scorpion.

Also include plenty of beetles. There are about 5,000 species of mammals, 5,000 species of amphibians (mostly frogs), 10,000 species of birds and 500,000 species of beetles. That's a lot even if most of those fall into the vermin size range rather than the animal one. Even ants and worms don't have anything on them.

Heh. Croco-Pigs are not, in fact, half-crocodile, just big, incredibly vicious (cartoon) pigs.

Anyway, a few more, just for fun:

1. Saltwater Crocodile (what's better than a crocodile? One that can hit 20+ feet long :smallamused:)
2. Spider Monkey
3. Blue-Ringed Octopus (ludicrously poisonous for the win!)
4. Portuguese Man O' War (yay for jellyfish with 30-100 foot-long tentacles)
5. Pistol Shrimp (hooray for being able to 'punch' so fast that it causes deadly shockwaves)
6. Brown Bat (huh, can't believe we all forgot the only flying mammal. Echolocation is nice too)
7. Porcupine

... as a thought, you might want to trim the list down to critters that will offer distinct mechanical advantages/disadvantages and stats to keep gameplay smooth.

If Phill Jupitus were here, he'd suggest kestrel off the top of his head. A frill-necked lizard has yet to grace the list. A chameleon could be an option, as the posting chameleon might have mentioned, but perhaps that was too obvious. A swan, black or white (or one of each). A spectacled bear hasn't been mentioned. A hammer shark, perhaps? An earth worm, I guess. And its enemy, the sea gull.

And its enemy, the sea gull.

Make that a dire sea gull (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?445795-Looking-for-a-monster&highlight=dire+seagull).

Dodo FTW!

Also: Pygmy marmoset, Capybara, Sea lion, Vampire bat, Flying fox, Hare, Hedgehog, Lobster.

Is there any kind of 'safety' mechanism on this change? E.g. not much fun to turn into a whale shark when you're, say, on a small plane, or any kind of fish when you're nowhere near water.

Totally didn't think of this till now...

Corgi.

The transformation didn't fail, it turned her into a different Corgi.

Dodo FTW!

I'm kind of ashamed I didn't think of that one now. It's the only animal I can (sort of) draw.

Things with pigmy in it are a good idea as well. Pigmy hippo's for instance.
