What im looking for are fun party synergies, mostly at lower levels.
Ill kick off with the Dice control party (feel free to improve)

Halfling diviner -portent
Lore Bard -inspiration, viscous mockery
War Cleric -Guided strike
Paladin -saves

Maybe a defense team like

paladin with defensive style and shield
fighter with same
..dunno i guess imposing advantage with high AC is the plan here

The dice control party needs at least one lucky guy. Even at the earliest levels it's possible to have the feat on a human.

Fun party synergies, eh?

I think a Monk of Long Death would be fun in an archer-heavy party. For example, the death-themed party:

Monk of Long Death 6 - Main tank, frightens everybody
Fighter 1/Fiendlock 5 - Backup tank, ranged repulsor
Lore Bard 6 - Healer/protector
Necromancer 6 - Ranged artillery

The way this works is that the Monk gets up front and uses Fear every round on all the enemies to prevent them from getting closer/impose disadvantage on attack rolls; the Fiendlock (Agonizing Blast; Repelling Blast; Book of Ancient Secrets) is next to or behind him in full plate (AC 21) and blasts backwards anybody who did manage to get closer and/or hits them with melee cantrips like Booming Blade (I hate that name); the Lore Bard supports with Heroism on the Warlock as necessary to make him immune to the monk's Fear and/or grant temp HP; and the Necromancer's skeleton archers are laying down a withering fire the whole time, perhaps from behind a Web in tough battles. After tough battles, the Lore Bard can heal everybody with Inspiring Leader (note: works on skeletons too by RAW) and/or Aura of Vitality.

Viscous mockery sounds gross.

Controllers galore:
Battle Master - maneuvers
Lore Bard - Cutting Words, Vicious Mockery, Bard Magic
Sorcerer - Careful Spell, Twinned Spell
Land Druid - Split Enchantment, so many spells

Scourge of the Undead
Paladin of Devotion - obviously
Life Cleric - Divine Strike, Turn Undead
Radiant Soul Monk - So much radiance
Draconic Fire Sorcerer - For Mummies

The team of damage resistance:
BearTotem Barbarian (resist everything)
DragonBorn Land Druid (druidic resistance doesn't pick up til lvl 10)
Dwarf Paladin of Devotion (Poison, disease, charm @7, Evil @15)
Teifling draconic sorcerer of white ancestry (fire and ice resistance)

The advantageous team:
Wolf Totem Barb
Moon Druid
Elven Ranger (favored terrain, adv. against charm)
surefooted halfling rogue Archery Style (hide behind the ranger, sneak attack w/adv)
Maybe switch the ranger for a bard, or wizard for control spells and such. Web, and spiked earth are nice.

How about an "I see and ambush you" stealth+perception party?
Can anyone finish this

Eagle Barbarian
Chain Lock with imp and devils sight
Bard with proficient stealth and per
wise Shadow monk

maybe a cleric, ranger or druid? could use any..

I think you forgot the 800lb gorilla in the room. The Assassin Rogue of course, Expertise in Stealth and Perception and auto-crits during surprise rounds.

That is four party members... you finished it. I would switch the monk for the rogue though. The Bard provides some much needed versatility to the group.

Slimes have it hard enough as it is.. No need to mock them
