Janus

I've been playing around with Daz 3D quite a bit lately, and for the most part I've been making pictures of my EverQuest characters. Figured I'll share some of them here.
You can also check them out at my deviantArt gallery: http://janus3003.deviantart.com/gallery/

Some smexy paladin snuggles

My two main paladins, Janus and Tyria, having a moment. The outfits are inspired by EverQuest's default clothing human and high elves, though Tyria's is a bit skimpier than the game's. I've taken to calling this "the fanservice outfit."

The Floor's Ours

Janus and Tyria (get used to seeing these two) dancing. This image took 10.5 hours to render, probably because I just had to have reflective floors.

Paladin portraits

Not much to say here, other than that Janus's skin tone has changed more than once and I should probably tone down Tyria's blush the next time I show her with makeup.

Elania

Wood elf druid. I'm really happy with how the lighting turned out on this one.

Weight Training
"All right, everyone, today's your first dancing lesson. As a Knight of Truth, you'll not only have martial expectations, but social as well. Every culture in Norrath has a variety of dances, and knowing your own will better enable you to learn others and ultimately help others accept you. However, I must remind you that no matter the culture, you are always a Knight of Truth, and the Dark Elf dance sometimes known as the 'Wham, Bam, Thank You, Ma'am' remains absolutely forbidden.
"Furthermore, dancing can help you in other ways. For instance, your balance and footwork will improve, which will greatly aid your fighting ability. You'll gain confidence, which will aid in your spell casting. Plus, you're all about to get a bit more social with your fellow knight brothers and sisters. Keep your hands where I can see them."
-Dame Lanis Herion, Knights of Truth Dance Mistress

"I'm very proud of you all! Your dancing's improved, and your other instructors have told me you're doing better in their classes. You've gone from stumbling about like flesh golems to gliding about the dance floor like mermaids. You've mastered the dances of Freeport, and you can admirably represent yourselves and the Order in any court.
"Now put on your armor and do it again."

Paladin training can be rather painful, to say the least.
I tried a thing to make them look sweaty in the second panel, but it wound up just making them look really pale.

Chain Armor Thingy What

If the setting is magic enough to consider this as sufficient armor, then it's also magic enough for chainmail to blow in the wind.

Wizard's Study

Made this for a friend of mine who introduced me to EverQuest in the first place. It's his characters, Sandfyre and Lerria. Unfortunately the billowing sleeves on Lerria's robe make for a very unflattering image of her.

Time to Move On
http://orig07.deviantart.net/8398/f/2015/326/9/a/time_to_move_on_by_janus3003-d9hofx7.jpg
Freeport has its issues, sure. Massive gap between rich and poor. Underground churches devoted to evil gods. Militia led by a traitor to your order, making it dangerous for a paladin to walk the streets of West and East Freeport alone. Tensions rising as various factions wait for another to make a move and spark civil war.
But it's still home. From training at the Hall of Truth, wrapping your head around the activities at the Academy of Arcane Science, to chatting with the friendly ogre merchant, Boomba the Big, it's all a part of living there, and not something any sane individual would give up.
But finally you reach a point where there's very little left to learn there. Your skills would be better tested and more useful out in the dangerous world of Norrath. Home will still be there when you're done.
Managed to work out an outfit for Tyria that more closely matches the game's graphics. I have an easier time imagining her going out in public wearing this as opposed to the fanservice outfit.

Sword Instruction

Janus has a tendency to max out his sword skills every level, so here he's demonstrating a historically accurate technique (http://wiktenauer.com/wiki/File:MS_26-232_63r.png) to his fellow knights. Self-proclaimed Nice Guy Elliot sulks in the background.

Summoned

Summoning devils is a bad idea.
