...Xykon and Redcloak will just get out of the throne room, but NOT Azure City. All they have to do is:
- Instruct the hobbo horde to sack the city, crushing all opposition they find
- Stay protected within the horde for a night and refresh their spells/day (and HP)
- Re-enter the throne room the next day, full spells and HP, with no backup Sapphire Guard to help Soon, and take him on 2 on 1.

The thing is, they practically own AC now.. why not just take their time?

Xykon is not a patient man(/liche) he has said so himself, but he has also stated just how much he loves unlife, at the moment he feels very vulnerable patience would be a virtue however he still has his friend in the darkness to unleash into the throne room he has already shown his crushing power against miko maybe we will soon see whats under the umbrella.

They need a Gate, and the Azure city one is gone. They could have pulled this plan in Dorukan's dunegon, given the manpower they had at hand, and there would have been no opposition, if Xykon could make a gate.

But in the end, Xykon is a Sorcerer, not a Wizarrd, with a small spell selection, none of which will focus on creating something like a Gate. Xykon needs to capture one, not make one.
