So I want to make a good character, and usually I'd make a Dragonfire Adept. They're nice and simple. However, this new game has a low-magic setting, and DFAs are high magic. So what would be a good, simple, low-magic character?

I'm leaning towards Barbarian, but by no means am I set on it.

Swift Hunter and Daring Outlaw are both good, fun options. Plenty of skills and a solid punch.

I've ended up deciding on Marshal.

Any advice on stuff I can do for my character? http://www.myth-weavers.com/sheet.html#id=638312

Intimidation feats work great for you. A quick Paladin dip nabs Cha to saves, and- with substitution levels- Inspire Courage for bonus fun. Draconic Aura also doubles down on the passive boosts. Wild Cohort may be worth taking for an extra melee friend to benefit from your auras.

That's pretty much what I was thinking though it's quite passive. You probably ought to multi-class, certainly after Marshal 4 - if not before.

Are Warlock or Bard too high magic for you ? You have delayed their entry so they have already been de-powered. Warlock can give you a skills boost on the interpersonal stuff, or give you animal related stuff.

Ranger is kind of obvious for the animal stuff, though your Wisdom is low.

You spent a feat on a Draconic Aura, consider a Dragon Shaman dip to grab three auras instead ?

You seem to have gone for Knowledge skills, Bluff, Diplomacy and Handle Animal.

You haven't gone for Intimidate so a fear build is out — even though you have gone with Dreadful Wrath.

Since you have Knowledge skills you might want to consider Knowledge Devotion with the Collector of Stories Skill-trick ?
