Wands

I'd like some Idea for wands for my artificer to make besides the normal listed ones
any strong spells that I could put in to a wand to give me a edge any will do I like to get ideas

That depends. Do you want utility? all around useful? Or blastificer wands?

First thought was a wand of Evard's black tentacles with wriggling tentacles at the end. Actually, I think there is a wand or rod like that somewhere… or something like it.

Magic of Faerûn, p.175 has rules for mounting specific gem stones onto wands to improve Save DC or Caster Level, so keep that in mind, too. I gave a wealthy-minded, air-of-nobility-appearing character a wand of magic missile mounted with a black opal to give it a Caster Level of 9th… even though a regular CL 9 wand would have actually been cheaper… but it wouldn't have looked as fancy. :smallcool:
