If a player uses a The Fates card to undo a previous card, does it just cancel that card or do they draw a replacement card? My thought is that since it is reversing the action such that they never drew the card, they would have to draw another to fulfill the requirements of having to draw all their cards.

It depends.

Did they say that they wish to avoid the drawing of that card or it's effects ?

I don't remember the exact wording he used, but I believe the sense was that he never drew the card.

Hmm, you ought to be more careful with this - though I have had situations where the player's wording was ambiguous.

If he hasn't drawn the card then he has to draw a new one - obviously.

If he wording was ambiguous then he hasn't used the Fates - because "Which situation ?".

If he'd just dodged the effect then the draw is done.

Fortunately, it isn't the main campaign or their primary characters. I think I'll go with the fun factor and have him re draw.

Any chance he could redraw the same card? :smalltongue:
