I know this may seem silly

But I have a problem.

Simply put. I can't host Warcraft 3, Starcraft, or Original Diablo games.

Anyone have any ideas why?

I had the same problem with AOE 2, and I fixed it by turning off my firewall. Evidently it was messing with it somehow. You might want to try that, depending on how you multiplayer.

I would check your firewall. That tends to screw all sorts of things up.

Open Port (I believe) 6442 on your firewall AND Router. You can find the exact port by going to options in WC3 and choosing Game options.

To open it, Depends on what type you have.

Also have a look-see at your anti-virus. I had a similar problem with Mcafee blocking things like age of empires three because it was doing something or another that Mcafee percieved as somehow naughty. Check your blocked programs list in your anti-virus.

Though the Firewall is the primary culprit in these sorts of things.

Even when I turn my firewall (and anti-virus) off it still doesn't work, but will check the port stuff.

I've tried port forwarding but it hates me.

Edit: The port is already open on my router, and firewall, I think.
