advancing HD for an artificer Homuncli

so I plan on having an 8HD crossbow homunculi and i'd like to know dose it gain any feats but gaining HD?
can some one tell me if it dose or not

It does. Anything with an int score above 0 gets the same number of feats; that is 1 at 1st level and 1 for every multiple of 3. So an 8 HD homunculus has 3 feats.

Precise Shot is good, as is Rapid Reload (Light Crossbow) followed by Rapid Shot.
