I am going to be doing 2 gestalt characters(at first level, when reaching 2nd level they will be modified as if they were just a normal multi class character) the books I have access to are Arms & Equipment Guide, Book of Exalted Deeds, Book of Vile Darkness, Complete Divine, Complete Mage, Complete Scoundrel, Complete Warrior, Defenders of the Faith, Deities & Demigods, Masters of the Wild, Oriental Adventures, Races of Destiny, Races of Stone, Races of the Wild, Song and Silence, Spell Compendium, Sword and Fist, Tome and Blood, and Unearthed Arcana. I have been told(by DM) that I need a Cleric, Monk, Sorcerer, and Rogue for my classes. What would be the optimal class combinations for a gestalt character? I am thinking maybe Sorcerer/Monk and Cleric/Rogue, but I want the input of more experienced players.
