So as you may or may not be aware, there are some pretty awesome ACFs for wizards, one in dragon and one in the planar handbook, that let you add one of your alignment descriptors to all the spells you cast. The dragon magazine version(#357) gets it at first level. I've found a decent quantity of things that boost these that are super powerful in combination.

[Evil]:
Soul Tick(FF), Symbiote, Empowers all [Evil] spells.
Spell Focus(Evil)(CD), or Malign Spell Focus(BoVD), +1 to all [Evil] spell DCs.
Barbs of Hextor(CC), Special holy symbol, usable by anyone, +1 CL to all [Evil] spells. Can only use one special holy symbol.
Stone Socket of Gruumsh(CC), Special holy smybol, +1 damage per die with [Evil] spells. Can only use one special holy symbol.
Abyssal Specialist(DotU): Specialize in spells with the chaotic, compulsion, darkness, evil, and fear descriptors. Ban one school. Compatible with focused specialist, I believe.

[Chaotic]:
Chaotic Spell Recall(FC1): Lets you recall a [Chaotic] spell a number of times per day based on your abyssal heritor feats.
Abyssal Specialist(DotU)

[Good]:
Spell Focus(Good)(CD)

[Law]:
Spell Focus(Law)(CD)

Anyone familiar with anything else we can use to boost up spells with alignment descriptors?

Pity it's not like the good version, Consecrate spell (Book of Exalted Deeds), which is a +1 Metamagic you can apply to any spell you know (makes half the damage holy, adds the Good descriptor... which, of course, means that Spell Focus(Good) can then apply to any spell....). Both Corrupt Spell (Champions of Ruin, Complete Divine, Book of Vile Darkness) and Violate Spell (Book of Vile Darkness) require you to pick the spell to which it applies when you pick the feat. Would combine very well with Abyssal Specialist otherwise.

Actually in Complete Divine they fix Corrupt spell - making it mirror Consecrate Spell. Subsequent villain statblocks, even ones drawing from BoVD, have tended to use the Complete Divine version of the feat, as I recall - in the Fiendish Codex books anyway.

Speaking of the Book of Vile Darkness it has a long list of material components that can boost the effectiveness of [Evil] spells.

Now to visit the local orphanage and pluck some "humanoid childrens' eyes."

Cool. Combines really, really well with a focused Abyssal specialist, as now *any* spell that's not prohibited for other reasons can go in a specialist slot at +1 spell level (and with the right build, that's mitigated). Add Spell Focus and Greater Spell Focus (Evil), both special unholy symbols (pick one based on the spell - Empower for the damage dealing ones, +1 CL for the rest), and you've got a very evil character that's extra effective at casting.

As I mentioned in the OP, there's two wizard ACFs that let you make all spells you cast [Alignment], just costs your familiar.

Missed that, sorry. Still, really useful.

Oh, hey: Do Violate Spell and Corrupt Spell combine?

I'd rather go to a troll settlement. :smallwink:

Most trolls are not humanoid, and the material component specifies humanoid children's eyes.

Mind you, a humanoid child with the troll-blooded regional feat...

Nah, nah, I've got to step up my game (http://www.nuklearpower.com/2009/11/12/episode-1190-the-most-complete-quest-ever/) a bit more…
