Hi.
In the past, I have used a particular online translator to help with coming up with meaningful names. Over the course of a few years I used it quite a bit. However, it has been over a year since I last used it, and now I can't find it again - I don't remember what search terms I used to find it the first time, and I don't remember the name of it. I really liked the set-up for that site, so I'm hoping to find it again and thought I'd come to the Playground for some help. Here's what I remember...
*) It's a free site.
*) Like most online translators, it's set up so that you can select both the "from" and "to" languages from dropdown lists.
*) There's a checkbox for whether you want the translation search to be exactly what you typed, or whether you want the search to be any and all terms in its database that include what you typed.
*) Graphically, there are shaded boxes (I dunno if there's a term for that) on the page.
*) When it gives you the results, it goes to a new page and doesn't display the language and search options in the new page, just the results from the translation search.
*) The results are given in a list in a shaded box - the initial language terms on one side and the target language translations on the other.
*) Languages that don't use the Roman alphabet have their words transliterated into the Roman alphabet instead of written as they would be in their own writing system.
