I started collecting the chainmail miniatures and would like to try the actual game. I think it came out in early 2000s. Can someone please link me a place to buy or read the rulebook? I seem to be having trouble finding the right one.

The 2002 Chainmail game (metal miniatures) was quickly replaced by the Dungeons and Dragons Miniatures Game (plastic miniatures). You should be able to find a set of rules in either of the starter sets (though expect to pay a lot for either one). I don't think either sets have had the rules released for free anywhere.

There is also the version of Chainmail from the 70s. I was able to find the rulebook for that on Amazon, but not cheaply.
