7th level build for Drow - expert at infiltration

OK playground, I'm looking for a bit of help working up an NPC for an upcoming game. I am not using Pathfinder.
Female Drow that specializes in infiltrating surface communities to gather information, get defense layouts, identify priority targets (individuals/locations/resources) and otherwise act as the eyes and ears for her boss. Only limit is no levels in cleric. ECL would be 9. Stats are the elite array.

I've got pretty much all of the 3.5 books. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Warlock 2/Rogue 3/Assassin X is pretty nice, put Darkstalker(obviously), then throw some of the Darkness-consuming feats from DotU, using warlock's darkness for maximum spamming, also throw in either Shatter or Devil's Sight, usually Shatter is the best option.
