I have been looking in my vast 3.5 book collection for
the rules for the erudite and finally found him
in one of the Piso nice books..

I have...

Psionic handbook
Expanded and
Complete

But I can't find the spell to Powe option / variant

Except for an unofficial one...

I tend to be an advocate of cool, high-powered things, but I find the StP Erudite to be...a bit much. Part of it is that it doesn't really have flavor to it; it's just "hey, let's make some mechanics to give a class every psionic power AND arcane spell!"

At least things like the Beholder Mage are flavorful as well as overpowered.
