The Bell tolls Thirteen times, each toll lasts Thirteen seconds and echoes Thirteen times.
When the Bell finally fall silent, the Ska year has ended and a new one begun.

The Ska council is held in the deepest ruined catacombs of Skaruun, a small room once used by a long dead race to hold maps and charters of the mines beneith the Skaven mountains. The room now holds nothing but darkness, each of its Thirteen walls has a single door leading to Thirteen tunnels each of which has been tunneled to the lair of their particular council master. The ancient walls are naked stone, covered in thick drapes of black moss and the floor is carpetted in shedded hair.

Despite being the council chambers of the Ska high council very little ornimentation decorates the grissley dark room perhaps the most significant fact of all however, for those familiar with the Ska, is the lack of any rodents other than the chambers Thirteen enhabitants nor their waste or their corpses.

The only objects present in the room at all are Thirteen chairs, each a couple of feet infront of their respective doors and each characteristic of their respective council members.

Nightlord Sneek, leader of clan Eshin, was never in the room.

Certainly, he may have appeared to take his place, may have seemed to wax lyrical about plans for scouting, may have seemed to be listening intently. But he simply wasn't there.

Where he was, however, was on a wagon. For reasons that essentially amounting to him deciding that it would be fun, coupled with the fact that his gutter runners moved ever so slightly faster than him, he had them pull this wagon along with them rather than deigning to walk himself.

It wasn't quite the Screaming Bell, but it would do.

Snikrit sat silently in his chair, he gazed out at each of his Council
members, each in their own way flawed in the eyes of the Ska-Sk-Wkt
but each strong enough in their own way to serve as his holy council.

He could see in his minds eye the near future, a great army had been
raised by the Warlord Clans, he had subtly had each of them begin to
believe there might be a seat on the council for whom ever could
destroy the Dwarvern threat on their doorstep and each had answered
with more than four hundred Ska-Cht, Clan Mors had provided over
three thousand Skre-Sk-Tpt and the plague pits of Clan Pestilens and
workshops of Clan Skryre had both provided Jezzail teams and Plague
priests.

Finally, his counter part, the Clan Eshin had provided one thousand
Gutter runners to provide information for the war about to take place.
He was personally a little frustrated the Eshin had not bothered to show
up, but a Gray Seer of his power had forseen this comming, just as he
had forseen everything... It didn't matter in the grand scheme of things,
he knew clan Mors would fail to destroy the dwarves and the mass
destruction and slaughter would be a catalyst for the rebirth of their
god. He had forseen the Ska-Sk-Wkt once more walking the material
plane.
