phychic reformation and mithiral body

in the campaign i am currently in i am play a warforged and my friend is playing a psion, we have been toying around with the idea of using phychic reformation to replace my first level feat with adimantine body but were concerned about if this would even work (mostly would the GM allow it).

i was wondering if any one on the forums had come across a similar situation and how they dealt with it.

RAW, no reason you can't do this. RAI is fuzzy as always.
