Party is L2. 4 characters, animal companion, 3 L2 NPCs (one with PC level equipment). Party level is 3.5ish, CR7 boss encounter. (L4 orc cleric, L3 orc barb, bunch of standard orcs)
3 orc greataxe crits, confirmed, out of 5 swings, all in round 2. 2 NPCs insta-dead. Animal companion would have bled out in 1 round, got the stabilize roll.
Fight isn't over yet (game called for the night), but all the standard orcs are out of it. Except 2 next to their last NPC (a wounded sorc), but all 3 are entangled. He'll likely die next round, unless he pulls off a nat 20 str check to move clear.
