So, it's been established that, now that he knows of Hel's plan AFTER he cast his vote Tyr Heimdall (a deity which specifically has a hotline to the High Priest of Tyr Heimdall) doesn't want the world to end. World 3.0, Tyr Heimdall now figures, is a Bad Idea for Dwarfkind.
Good on you, Tyr Heimdall.
But, seriously. If Roy's plan (Eliminating the High Priest of Hel) would have worked in the first place, then we have the High Priest of Tyr Heimdall RIGHT THERE with a DIRECT HOTLINE to his deity. Additionally, it has been established that the mortals in attendance not only know Roy's plan and understand the mechanics of how it forks, but know that Tyr Heimdall is bound to His previous vote by the infamous No Backsies rule.
Mechanically speaking, the Living (Or Unliving) High Priest of the Deity must be A) Alive and B) on the floor. From here, the High Priest of Tyr Heimdall can save the day in the following ways:
1) The HP can kill themselves. Now there is no longer a representative of Tyr Heimdall on the floor. The tie is broken. World 3.0 is on hold.
2) If Durkula can abdicate his position as the High Priest of Hel, so can Tyr Heimdall's High Priest, specifically to literally anybody not in the room. The Tie is broken, World 3.0 on Hold.
So, the question remains: why has nobody (specifically, the High Priest of Tyr Heimdall, the HPoTHPoHd's bodyguards, and double-especially Tyr Heimdall Himself, who is a literal War Deity who definitely understands the use and benefit of strategic losses and retreats figured this out? If they have, why are they not acting upon the information? Does this make Roy's plan (eliminating Durkula) a moot point? HPoTHPoHd's death would serve the same purpose, and it would even be a noble/honourable death assuming they don't want to be resurrected, so they even get a free ticket to Valhalla out of the deal.
