Reading through Unearthed Arcana articles, it looks like we might get both a warlock subclass and a sorcerer subclass with a touch of the divine. One is a character who finds themselves in the favors of a particular deity. I imagine the god believe in them, or has plans for them, regardless of the character's own piety. The other is a character in sync with the raw power of the Positive Energy Plane. It has become such a fundamental part of them that they might develop an irrepressible fear of the dark or hatred of the undead. I do not know if the crunch is good but I find it all to be pretty neat fluff.
Only... The favored soul is a sorcerous origin and the Undying Light is a warlock patron. That seems backward to me. Anyone else feels that way?
