Are there any official web variants of core classes that are not in a non-core sourcenook? Core being mm, DMG and PHB.

I'm not sure what you're asking. Are there online alternate class features of PHB classes that weren't published somewhere in print? Loads. There are web enhancements for a bunch of books like Cityscape and Champions of Valor that add ACFs for a buttload of classes.

There aren't web enhancements specifically for the PHB, but the web enhancements usually include content for these classes. For instance, the Cityscape (http://archive.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/we/20070228a) one gives alternate features for druids, barbarians, rangers, and paladins (as well as the non-Core scout and spirit shaman).
