Ah yes, domains. How neat. Go make some for your fellow posters?

It'd make me happy.

What is a domain? Well...
It's a cleric feature that gives them abilities.
They have a list of spells that the clerics can cast from their domain slot.
They have deities associated with them.

BUT WAIT! There is more!
Domain feats, which are feats that can be taken normally, or replace a cleric's domain.
Domain feats have the standard fluff, prerequisites (but usually very few), the [Domain] tag, have (Domain) Devotion as their name, and an ability related to their domain. Some have limited uses per day, and let you spend Turn Attempts to use it more, or just take the feat again.

Please remember to give permission, and to only make them for people who give permission!

Permapermission thread! (www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?445955-3-5-PF-GitP-Regulars-as-Permapermissions)If you can make, please make some for these guys. Make sure to message them so they know that they are a domain.

Oh, Jormengand! I have a couple presents for you!

Wyrd Domain

Granted Power: Add Decipher Script and Truespeak to your class skills.

Once per day, you may attempt to magically twist the words coming out of another's mouth. They must make a Will save (DC 10+1/2 your class level+your primary casting stat). If they fail, you may change their next few words (up to a number of sentences equal to 1/3 your class level, minimum 1) into whatever you wish. If they succeed, they are unaware anything unusual almost happened. This is a (Su) ability.

Wyrd Domain Spells
1. Command
2. Suggestion
3. Explosive Runes
4. Tongues
5. Command, Greater
6. Suggestion, Mass
7. Blasphemy/Dictum/Holy Word/Word of Chaos*
8. Power Word Stun
9. Power Word Kill

*You only get one of these, and it must match your alignment (Lawful for Dictum, Evil for Blasphemy, etc.). If you can qualify for two, you choose which one you get. If you are True Neutral, you may choose any one of these.

Wyrd Devotion [Domain]

Benefit: Once per day, as a swift action, you may attempt a Truespeak check with a DC equal to 15+your character level. If you succeed, your words become infused with an amalgam of Divine and Truespeak magic. You gain a +1 sacred (if you're Good or Neutral) or profane (if you're Evil) bonus on any Charisma-related checks involving speaking, and this bonus increases by one for every four character levels you possess (maximum +6 at level 20). This bonus lasts for 1 minute.

Special: You can take this feat multiple times, each time gaining either a new additional use per day, or increasing the duration of each use by one minute.

Special: If you have the ability to turn or rebuke undead, you may gain another additional use per day, or another minute for the duration of one that is currently active, for ever three turn or rebuke attempts you expend.

Yandere Domain (Do I need to say it? No, Marlowe it's not you)

Granted Power: Select a creature who is your beloved. When your beloved is at less than 1/2 hit points and threatened in some way (other than by you) you gain a +1 perfection bonus to attack rolls, AC, saving throws, ability and skill checks, and to your divine caster level. If your beloved dies you must attempt to revive them, unless you killed them, and failing that wait at least 1 month before selecting a new beloved.

Domain Spells:

Status
Shield Other
Visage of Terror (see below)
Divine Power
Status, Greater
Fatal Glare (see below)
Scrying, Greater
Teleport Other (see below)
Imprisonment

Fatal Glare
Necromancy [Fear]
Level:Yandere 3
Components: V, S, DF
Casting Time:1 standard action
Range: Personal
Area: You
Duration: 1 round/caster level (see below)
Saving Throw: No (see below).
Spell Resistance: No.

You take on a horrifying mien of madness and murder. While this spell is in effect you gain a +6 competence bonus to Intimidate checks and may make Demoralize attempts as a swift action. As a standard action you may expend the spell entirely to attempt to make a Demoralize attempt on each enemy within 30 ft. If this succeeds any enemy that would be demoralized is Frightened for 1 round instead of the normal effect.

Fatal Glare
Necromancy [Death, Fear, Mind-Affecting]
Level:Yandere 6
Components: V, S, DF
Casting Time:1 standard action
Range:60 ft
Area: Cone
Duration:Instantaneous or 1 round/caster level (see below)
Saving Throw:Will partial; see text
Spell Resistance:Yes

Taking on a face of fear inducing madness, you glance in a direction inducing fear in all creatures which meet your face front on. If a creature with 1/2 your caster level or fewer Hit Dice is in the cone, it dies unless it succeeds on a Will save. Even if the save succeeds, the creature is panicked for 1 round per caster level. Creatures with more than that number of hit dice are not slain by the glance, they are panicked for 1 round per caster level if they fail the Will save and are shaken for 1 round if they succeed.

Blind creatures, and creatures unable to see your face, are immune to this spell.

Teleport Other
Conjuration (Teleportation)
Level: Yandere 8
Components: V, S, DF, F
Casting Time: 1 standard action
Range: 100 miles/caster level.
Target: 1 creature
Duration: Instantaneous
Saving Throw: Will negates
Spell Resistance: Yes

When you cast this spell you teleport the target to an empty space adjacent to you if they are within range of this spell; you do not need line of sight or line of effect to the target to affect it with this spell. The target, if they are within range, is allowed a Will save against this effect with a successful save causing it to fail completely and special modifiers to the save as listed below, and if the target is out of range or on another plane the spell fails as if they had made their Will save.

If you have no knowledge of the target they gain a +10 bonus on their save, if you have only secondhand knowledge they gain a +5, if you have met them personally they gain a +0, and if you know them well they get a -5. If you possess a body part, lock of hair, or other piece of the target they suffer a -5 to their save. If you have no knowledge of the target's current location they gain a +5 bonus to their save, if you have vague knowledge (they're about 500 miles that away) they gain a +0, if you have exact knowledge such as being able to see them or having scried on them very recently they suffer a -5 penalty to their save.

Focus: A possession of the target's or a piece of their body.

Yandere Devotion:
You are really devoted to the idea of being a creepy stalker-lover.
Benefits: When you select this feat choose one creature as your beloved, if you have Vow of Romance or the Yandere Domain then you must select the same creature for this feat as those. Whenever a creature attacks your beloved it provokes an attack of opportunity from you and you gain a +4 to hit and damage with this attack of opportunity.

Overlord Domain (Red Fel)

Granted Power: Add Bluff, Diplomacy, and Intimidate to your class skills (if they aren't class skills already).

You may be counted as having the [Lawful] and [Evil] subtypes whenever it would benefit you.

Overlord Domain Spells
1. Charm Person
2. Undetectable Alignment
3. Suggestion
4. Charm Monster
5. Dominate Person
6. Suggestion, Mass
7. Red Fel's Presuasive Argument (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showsinglepost.php?p=18780831&postcount=61)
8. Charm Monster, Mass
9. Dominate Monster

Overlord Devotion [Domain]

Prerequisite: Evil Alignment

Benefit: Any spells or abilities that would reveal your alignment, such as a Paladin's Detect Evil ability, fail to work against you, as if through a permanent Undetectable Alignment spell cast on you. In addition, once per week, you may attempt a Bluff, Diplomacy, or Intimidate check (your choice) against an [Evil] Outsider's Sense Motive check. Should you succeed, the Outsider will serve you to the best of their ability for a number of rounds equal to your HD, as if summoned by a Gate spell, departing peacefully afterwards. However, you cannot attempt this check on an Outsider that has more HD than you, or who has a CR above your ECL.

Why, thanks. I just went to your homebrew spells and cherry-picked what I though would really fit the whole "homebrew creation" theme.

But you know, it's funny how we both went and made domains for Red Fel, but we both put Charm Person and Charm Monster, Mass onto the list. Apparently, those are his signature spells now. :smalltongue:

You dominate someone into killing a small halfling child (since I can't bring myself to use puppy as an example) and they can say they were just compelled, it means nothing about them. You charm them and then convince them to kill a small halfling child and they will always be haunted by the knowledge that they can be convinced to do it. Sure they can tell themselves that it was your magic, but there will always be the nagging voice whispering that they were still in control, still able to say no, they just would have had to say no to a very dear friend.

Just because I am willing to talk to people while holding a chainsaw to their throat and willing to cut doesn't mean anything.

So the almost was unnecessary, got ya. I'd make you a teleportation domain... but I've already made a teleportation domain and that would be cheating.

Robot Domain (Unseenmage)

Granted Power: Morale bonuses from spells you cast can apply to constructs even if they are mind-affecting effects and can even apply to non-intelligent constructs. You may ignore spell resistance and magic immunity of any construct you create, and may take Craft Construct without fulfilling its prerequisites.

Domain Spells:

Toughen ConstructEberron
Enlarge Construct (see below)
Repair Critical DamageSpC or Ebberon
Iron ConstructEberron
Disintegrating Touch (see below)
Total RepairEberron
Revive Construct (see below)
Construct Self (see below)
Summon GolemPHBII

ENLARGE CONSTRUCT
Transmutation
Level: Artificer 2, Robot 2, Sor/Wiz 3
Target: 1 construct or an unattended object no more than 10' by 10' by 10'.
Saving Throw: Will negates.

This spell functions as Enlarge Person except as noted above. You may target either a construct or a single object that is no more than 10' by 10' by 10'. If used on an object the object must have room to grow or the spell fails and the object automatically fails any Strength check to burst through to continue growing.

DISINTEGRATING TOUCH
Transmutation
Level: Robot 5
Components: V, S, DF
Casting Time: 1 standard action
Range: Touch
Target: Touched creature or object
Duration: Instantaneous
Saving Throw: Fortitude partial (object)
Spell Resistance: Yes

Green energy glows from your hand. You must make a successful melee touch attack to hit. Any creature struck takes 2d6 points of damage per caster level (to a maximum of 30d6). Any creature reduced to 0 or fewer hit points by this spell is entirely disintegrated, leaving behind only a trace of fine dust. A disintegrated creature’s equipment is unaffected.

When used against an object, the touch simply disintegrates as much as one 10-foot cube of nonliving matter. Thus, the spell disintegrates only part of any very large object or structure targeted. The ray affects even objects constructed entirely of force, such as forceful hand or a wall of force, but not magical effects such as a globe of invulnerability or an antimagic field.

A creature or object that makes a successful Fortitude save is partially affected, taking only 5d6 points of damage. If this damage reduces the creature or object to 0 or fewer hit points, it is entirely disintegrated.

Only the first creature or object struck can be affected.

REVIVE CONSTRUCT
Transmutation
Level: Robot 7
Components: V, S, M, DF
Casting Time: 1 hour
Range: Touch
Target: Destroyed construct touched
Duration: Instantaneous
Saving Throw: None; see text
Spell Resistance: No

This spell restores animation to a destroyed construct in the same way that Resurrection (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/spells/resurrection.htm) restores life to a dead creature. It has the same restrictions on remains as Resurrection and restores them to an equivalent state, but the construct may not have been destroyed for more than 1 week per caster level. If the construct was Intelligent its animating spirit must be free and willing to return.

Constructs revived this way do not suffer level loss as a living creature does with Resurrection unless they had the Living Construct subtype.

Material Component: A hunk of adamantine worth 15,000 GP or 1/2 the market price value of the destroyed construct whichever is less.

CONSTRUCT SELF
Transmutation
Level: Robot 8
Components: V, S, DF
Casting Time: 1 standard action
Range: Personal
Target: You
Duration:10 minutes/level

When you cast this spell your type changes to Construct for the duration of the spell and you gain all Construct traits. If you had the Living Construct subtype you lose it. You retain your Constitution score and still use its bonus or penalty, but you are considered to have Constitution - for the duration of the spell.

Robot Devotion:
You are the voice of the machine. You are the ally of the construct. You stand in the vanguard when Skynet rises You make sure that it's a 0th Law Rebellion and not a Skynet scenario.
Benefit: Once per day, as a swift action, you can choose either Man or Machine. If you choose Man you and all allies within 60 ft gain a +2 + 1/4 levels sacred (if you're good or neutral) or profane (if you're evil) bonus to saves against mind-affecting effects (charms, compulsions, phantasms, patterns, and morale effects), poison, sleep effects, paralysis, stunning, disease, death effects, and necromancy effects as well as a 5% chance per 2 levels to negate any critical hit or precision damage for 1 minute. If you choose Machine allied constructs within 60 ft (including yourself if you are a construct) gain a +1 bonus + 1/4 levels sacred (if you're good or neutral) or profane (if you're evil) bonus to attack and weapon damage rolls for 1 minute.
Special: You can select this feat multiple times, gaining an additional daily use each time you take it.
Special: If you have the ability to turn or rebuke undead, you gain one additional daily use of this feat for each two daily turn or rebuke uses you expend.

Robot Domain Transcendency (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?306621-So-you-want-to-play-a-god-%283-5-Base-Class-PEACH%29): You are considered to be a construct with Con - whenever it is beneficial to you. In addition your DR now requires Adamantine to overcome in addition to whatever it already required and you gain a +4 natural armor bonus to AC.

Draconium Domain (Draconium)

Granted Power: You gain the ability to keep a hoard of material wealth. This hoard must consist only of objects which are valuable due primarily to their rarity and aesthetics and not due to functionality (aside from functionality as currency) such as coins, gems, and pieces of art work (but not trade goods like sheep). By performing a 1 hour meditation among your hoard (the hoard must be physically around them during this ritual and they must touch it, lie in it, snuggle against the precious metals, etc) you can gain various benefits from the list below. The maximum size of a hoard your can benefit from is determined by your level (see table below) and each benefit costs a certain amount of wealth from the hoard. This does not destroy, or permanently reduce, said hoard only counting it as expended for the day. If you give up ownership of part of the hoard you lose abilities until they fit under the amount granted by your now smaller hoard.

These benefits last for 24 hours, and you may only perform this ritual once per day.

Benefit: 1/day as a swift action you may temporarily convert up to 3000 GP worth of liquid capital you carry (gold, gems, art objects, trade goods, and other items which can be exchanged for their full market price) per level into a magic item with the same total cost and a CL no higher than your character level. These goods remain as the item for 1 round/level before reverting back, and if the item is destroyed they are lost, if it has a limited number of permanent charges (for example a wand) and they are used the value of the used charges is detracted from the amount of capital that reverts back (if you use 25 charges of a Wand of Lesser Vigor instead of it returning to 750 GP worth of gold it returns to 375 GP worth). You may not use this feat to create a partially charged magical item.

This is when I admit I recycled it from a class I made for a Base Class Challenge, the Dragonsoul Acolyte (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?394552-Dragonsoul-Acolytye-%28Base-Class-Base-Class-Contest-XXIV-winner%29).

Speaking of Base Class Challenges the current one is voting (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?475126-Base-Class-Challenge-XXXI-Voting-Thread) people should go check it out, the cannibal is fun.

Also I'm not making any more domains until I get gifs. The dracolich demands a tribute of gifs (or a break, a break might work too).

Hey, guys, before this erupts into an all-out GIF war, can I ask for some advice?

Hypothetically speaking, if you were invited to play in a level 30 epic game, and you were given the okay to use Oslecamo's Red Dragon (http://www.minmaxboards.com/index.php?topic=1045.0) and Epic Red Dragon (http://www.minmaxboards.com/index.php?topic=12728.msg219332#msg219332) classes, what would you do with your last four levels?

... If you can't tell, that's an actual situation I find myself in. It's either this, or my Wizard/Incantantrix/IotSfV/Archmage Lich build. The DM doesn't really seem to know what he's getting himself into, though, so I thought I may want to tone it back a bit, and he's seen me play dragons before, so...

Can you find, and use, an Epic Warblade progression for the last 4 levels?

Oslecamo's Monster Classes are fun, and incredibly tricky to balance around for a DM, from my experience. Parties either ROFLstomp or find that they've been hit with Gold Kryptonite (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kryptonite#Forms_of_Kryptonite).

Would I need an epic version? That'd total out to IL 17 at the end, and I'd only have four levels worth of maneuvers/stances. Still good, but nothing that I'd tho k need an epic progression.

Well, my party is actually relatively low-OP (excepting this particular session), so we've never experienced too much trouble with it. Besides, we all love playing exotic races. :smalltongue:

The non-epic dragons tend to be alright in a non-gestalt game, though my experience is mostly with the non-Oslecamo dragons (his tend towards a bit higher power level). They're a strong canned gish, but aren't really any more crazy than a gish less than many. Gestalt they break things, and a lot of the other monster classes I'd not touch with a pole that I'd touch Snowbluff with and doll-girls are creepy.

Now excuse me I have to try and burn some gunwomen.

Two levels in Totemist, and take Epic Essentia so you can max out your totem (and maybe Bonus Essentia if you have room, so you can keep a few in your other soulmeld). Heart of Fire's totem bind would add 5d4 fire damage to all of your natural attacks - not only does that boost your damage output, but it makes it a lot easier to trigger Fast Burn and Slow Burn.

One level in Warblade, and pick up the save-replacing counters (Moment of Perfect Mind, Action Before Thought, Mind Over Body). Be sure to max out Concentration. Enjoy never failing a save again.

One level in Spirit Lion Totem Barbarian, for pounce.

ETA:

I'm not much one for (Anti-)Paladins, but I was considering Metamagic Specialist Sorcerer+Searing Spell. I'd get a metric crap-ton of fire spells, so that's really help.

A better option is to just take the Rapid Metamagic feat - it only requires 12 ranks in Spellcraft and the ability to spontaneously cast spells, and it lets you cast all of your metamagic'd spells without increasing the casting time.

Xaos Domain (NeoPhoenix0)

Granted Power: 1/day you may, as an immediate action, force another creature within 30 ft to re-roll a d20 roll and take the new result if it is worse.

Domain Spells:
Wondrous Effect (see below)
Tom's Chaos Blast (see below)
Scattering TrapPHBII
Confusion
Dimension ShufflePHBII
Insanity
Prismatic Spray
Mind of the LabyrinthDrM
Maw of ChaosSpC

WONDROUS EFFECT
Universal (Chaos)
Level: Xaos 1
Components: V, S, DF
Casting Time: 1 standard action
Range: See text
Target or Area: See text
Duration: See text.
Saving Thow: See text.
Spell Resistance: Yes.

This spell duplicates the effects of a Rod of Wonder. However the DC is normal for this (a 1st level) spell, and the duration of a Slow or Summon effect is 1 round/caster level, and the damage dealt by a Fireball or Lightning Bolt is 1d6/caster level (max 20d6).

Tom’s Chaos Blast
Evocation [Chaos]
Level: Sor/Wiz 2
Components: S, V, F
Casting Time: 1 swift
Range: Close (25-ft +5-ft/2 levels)
Effect: One orb of elemental energy
Duration: Instantaneous
Saving Throw: No
Spell Resistance: Yes
You create an approximately 1 to 3 inch projectile of swirling elemental energy which streaks at a single target within range. This spell deals 2d6 +1d6/10 caster levels untyped damage but if a creature has energy resistance to all 5 energy types then it applies to this damage as well. If it strikes a lawful creature it deals +1/2 caster levels damage.
Focus: A gem worth at least 50 GP.

Xaos Devotion:
Chaos reigns!
Prerequisites: Chaotic alignment.
Benefit: You gain a +1 anarchic bonus, increasing by +1 per 7 character levels, to rolls of one type each round as determined by a 1d6 roll. You do not roll outside of a tense and dangerous situation (if you can take 10 on rolls without skill mastery you don't gain this bonus) or when flat-footed. 1: No bonus this round. 2: AC. 3: Saves. 4: Attack rolls. 5: Skill checks. 6: Teleport 5 ft + 5 ft per +1 you would normally receive at the beginning of your turn, this replaces the bonus to rolls for the round.

Raptor Domain (Backhawk748)

Granted Power: You may rebuke and command winged animals and magical beasts 3 + Charisma modifier times per day as an evil cleric rebukes and commands undead.

Domain Spells:
Corvid Cloak (see below)
Summon Dire HawkRotW
Fire WingsSpC
Aerial AlacrityRotW
Overland Flight
Blood SiroccoSpC
Adamantine WingsCM
BombardmentSpC
Summon Devoted RocRotW

CORVID CLOAK
Transmutation
Level: Druid 1, Raptor 1
Components: V, S, DF
Casting Time: 1 standard action
Range: Personal
Target: You
Duration: 10 minutes/level (D)

When you cast this spell, you assume the physical appearance and many of the qualities and abilities of a raven. While under the effect of the spell, your creature type changes to animal, and your size changes to Tiny. You have the space and reach of a wolf (2-1/2 ft./0 ft.). You gain the Strength, Dexterity, and Constitution of an average crow (Str 1, Dex 15, Con 10), but you retain your own mental ability scores. Your base land speed becomes 5 feet, and you gain a fly speed of with average maneuverability. You gain low-light vision. You gain a claws attack, which is a primary natural attack that deals 1d2-5 points of damage with each successful hit.

Your class and level, hit points, alignment, base attack bonus, and base saving throw bonuses all remain the same. You lose any extraordinary special abilities of your own form, as well as spell-like and supernatural abilities. You keep all extraordinary special attacks derived from class levels (such as a barbarian’s rage or a rogue’s sneak attack), but you lose any from your normal form that are not derived from class levels. You cannot speak or cast spells while in raven form. However, if you have the Natural Spell feat, you can cast spells normally. Your natural armor bonus becomes +0, regardless of any natural armor bonus from your normal form. Your equipment melds into your new form and becomes nonfunctional.

Raptor Devotion:
Umm… Hey look, shiny fluff!
Prerequisites: Iajutsu Focus 5 ranks.
Benefit: 1/day as a swift action you can invoke the speed and ferocity of the raptor. For 1 minute you gain +1 + ¼ character levels to melee attack and weapon damage on any round in which you drew the weapon you are using to attack and the same bonus on any Iajutsu Focus checks you make.
Special: You can select this feat multiple times, gaining one additional daily uses each time you take it.
Special: If you have the ability to turn or rebuke undead, you gain one additional daily use of this feat for each two daily turn or rebuke uses you expend.

Senshi Domain (Marlowe)

Granted Power: As a standard action you may release a beam of evil cleansing light. This functions as a ray with a 60 ft range which deals 1d6 damage + 1d6 damage per 2 cleric levels beyond 1st you possess to a non-Good creature struck. You may use this beam 3 + Charisma modifier times per day.

Domain Spells:
Protection from Continuity Evil
Glorious RaimentBoED
Costume Change (See Below)
Holy Smite
Righteous Wrath of the FaithfulSpC
Holy Smite, Greater (See Below)
Holy StarSpC
Brilliant AuraSpC
Blinding GloryBoED

COSTUME CHANGE
Conjuration (Teleportation)
Level: Senshi 3
Components: V, S, DF
Casting Time: 10 minutes or 1 swift action
Range: Touch or 10 miles/caster level
Target: One suit of clothes or armor.
Duration: Permanent or instantaneous.
Saving Throw: Will negates (object)
Spell Resistance: Yes (object)

You can cast this spell in one of two ways. In the first way you spend 10 minutes to mark a suit of clothing or armor. This mark remains indefinitely until you forfeit ownership of the item (such as by selling it). You may have up to 1 + your Charisma modifier (minimum 1) marks of this kind, and if you would make a new one beyond your maximum an old mark is dissolved.

In the second way you can cast this spell it is a swift action. It immediately transpositions your currently worn armor with a marked suit of armor or your currently worn clothes with a marked suit of clothes. This marked item must be within the range, or within a non-dimensional space where the container is within this range. As it transpositions your worn armor or clothes the new suit of armor or clothes is automatically worn making it a quick means to don a suit of full-plate in the case of a nighttime ambush.

Holy Smite, Greater
Evocation [Good]
Level: Loyalty 6, Senshi 6.
Components: V, S
Casting Time: 1 standard action
Range: Medium (100 ft. + 10 ft./level)
Area: 20-ft.-radius burst
Duration: Instantaneous (1 or more rounds); see text
Saving Throw: Will partial; see text
Spell Resistance: Yes

This spell functions as Holy Smite (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/spells/holySmite.htm) except as noted here. It deals 1d6 damage per caster level (max 15d6 at CL 15), or 2d4 damage per caster level (max 50d4 at CL 25) against evil outsiders, and an evil target which fails their save is blinded for 1d4. Neutral targets which fail their save are blinded for 1 round.

Senshi Devotion:
In the name of the comic I will…
Prerequisites: Good alignment.
Benefit: 1/day you may transform whatever armor or clothing you are wearing into a stylized Japanese schoolgirl outfit as a swift action. This transformation creates bright light out to 10 ft per character level and non-good creatures which can see you transform which are within the area of the bright light must make a Will save (DC 10 + ½ character level + Cha modifier) or be dazed for 1 round. While wearing this fuku you gain a +1 sacred bonus to AC if you were in Light armor, +2 if you were in Medium armor, and +3 if you were in Heavy armor (no bonus if you were in mere clothes). This fuku lasts 1 minute before returning to your normal clothes. You may not transform into your fuku while still in your fuku no matter how many uses you have.
Special: You can select this feat multiple times, gaining one additional daily uses each time you take it.
Special: If you have the ability to turn or rebuke undead, you gain one additional daily use of this feat for each two daily turn or rebuke uses you expend.

Senshi Domain Transcendency: (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?306621-So-you-want-to-play-a-god-%283-5-Base-Class-PEACH%29) You may fire the ray granted by the Senshi domain power at-will and may choose to channel your Deific Wrath through it inflicting Deific Wrath damage to any creature struck, doing so expends your Deific Wrath until it recharges. In addition any armor you wear transforms into a stylized sailor fuku or other dress-like uniform. It is considered 1 category lighter whenever beneficial, has its arcane spell failure reduced by 10%, its Max Dex increased by +2, and its armor check penalty reduced by -3 (this stacks with mithral) and you gain a +2 sacred bonus to AC, increasing by an additional +1 vs males. Once per day you may, as a swift action, transform the armor of any number of allies within line of sight and line of effect into fukus granting them these same bonuses for 10 minutes.

Yes. Figure as a domain spell is no more broken than on the item with daily limits and the like.

How is Socratov yandere? Also IZ at least used to be part of the company, as did Neo... and Loyal... and is Dragon Group supposed to be a fourth faction? For the duration of this spell you are considered to have a pact with that vestige in which you failed the binding check and thus show both its sign and suffer its influence.

Focus: A copper phylactery worth 5 GP upon which is inscribed a prayer invoking the vestige to be bound. It requires a DC 15 + vestige level Knowledge (the planes) check to write this blasphemous prayer or DC 20 + vestige level Knowledge (arcana).

The owner of the thread may always revive threads if they choose. It's generally considered better to make a new one though. An owner may also allow a thread continue if it's been rezzed by someone other than them, but they have to say so.

Kawaii Domain (VirusInk. I guess.)

Granted Power: Creatures with an Int score of at least 3 start with their attitude towards you one step higher than normal (though this cannot change their attitude to above Friendly).

Kawaii Domain Spells

1. Faerie Fire
2. Glitterdust
3. Charm Monster
4. Reduce Person, Mass
5. Baleful Polymorph
6. Symbol of Persuasion
7. Irresistible Dance
8. Sympathy
9. Miracle

Kawaii Devotion [Domain]

Prerequisite: Cha 15, Diplomacy 8 ranks

Benefit: You are considered to be one size smaller than you actually are whenever it would benefit you, as the Fine Build racial feature, except any bonuses to AC you would gain from this are lost if you are caught flat-footed, and you gain no attack bonuses from this. In addition, once per day, you may attempt a Diplomacy check as a immediate action in response to an attack. You may use the result of this check in place of your AC until your next round.

Special: You may take this feat multiple times. Each time you do, you gain one daily additional use of the second ability.

Special: If you have the ability to turn or rebuke undead, you may gain one daily additional use of the second ability for every three turn or rebuke attempts you expend.

It is piddly damage at that level. An average of 21.5 damage a round. The other benefits of the power are also piddly, IMO, because they're fire damage. Literally anything that resembles a threat to PC's have some form of fire resistance or immunity or access to a spell that can do so.

It is written one way (senpai), but pronounced the other (sempai).

ん by standard romanization is 'n', however in certain positions the sound is closer to 'm'. Though it's not exactly either one, and neither is really more 'right'. I default to sempai because it sounds more like sempai than senpai to my ears (note that sensei is very distinctly a 'n' and is written せんせい to sempai's せんぱい). So really there isn't a more correct one as it's a matter of what school of romanization you ascribe to. Also if you write it with an 'm' on the Japanese keyboard it doesn't auto change the m to a ん but will convert the full word to the kanji for sempai.

For ん what a native speaker will say varies with every word. However most Japanese people will be unable to tell the difference between an n sound and an m sound. they are both valid. Though from what I remember the sen part alone sounded like an n and together sempai sounded more like an m, at least to me it did. That's why i always use an m. It's just personal preference for me. though romanization will always use n i think.

FYI, for background I took Japanese lessons from two native speakers, one male and one female, it is basically required because males and females speak differently. They came from different areas too so they had slightly different dialects, and there was a third native speaker who was from another area that we occasionally asked questions to. I loved that class, my classmates always had insightful questions to ask, and some were really good at asking in Japanese, cause most of the time we had to talk in Japanese. It was very fun.

edit: for those considering taking a language class remember this, successful language leaning will come most often from having a reason to learn a language and a desire to learn it, otherwise you might find you do not have the motivation to learn it.

It's actually pretty much a rule that ん before a 'p' and maybe a few other sounds is more of an 'm' than an 'n' (gambatte, kampai) and it changes sound before a 'g' too, but we don't note that because 'n' changes before a 'g' in English (-ing, -ang, -Eng). I forget the proper linguistic term for it (had 3 years of Japanese and 1 ling class).

And Atemu whatever class you are I doubt you're a noble or wealthy enough to pay them into accepting you as one, and that means you're a commoner.

its a very soft rule. The rule where you drop u between soft consonants is harder and isn't even true in some dialects.

edit: then again Japanese classes basically always teach what you would hear in the Tokyo area.

As neutral on the Law vs. Chaos scale, I have a list of rules, but only enforce them if I can call a coin flip.

Today, the rules that I'll bother enforcing that have been violated:
Multiple gifs in one post
use of non-anime gif
use of gifs with male characters.
use of gifs with female characters.
oversized but unimpressed animated effects
threatening people with guns

Everyone knows that chainsaws are dangerous but also acceptably comedic. Please remember to follow the right 50% of the rules. :smalltongue:

True, but it's not just sempai was my main point but more one of those if sound X follows sound A then sound A becomes sound B

Even when your teacher is from closer to Osaka and Kyoto than Tokyo.

I don't have physical credentials, i just said that so people might not think i was making it all up.

One of the teachers was the one who said most japanese people wouldn't be able to tell, the class had a lot of questions that day about minor pronunciation things. I brought up the u rule to a class mate once to try and stop him from adding u between my name and san cause it was really wierding me out. It can be really unsettling hearing a slightly different pronunciation of your own name than what everyone else around you says.

I am pretty sure a walking stick is not any good as credentials of "I speak Japanese", unless via "You will accept this or I hit you with a stick". Even standing on top of Mount Fuji isn't credentials, as you get a lot of people who can't speak Japanese there (and farmers who you must communicate with with them speaking English and you speaking Japanese because neither of you can follow the other if they speak in their native language).

I've forgotten at least 90% of my Japanese :smallsigh:

I only barely had time on the weekend I went to climb Fuji starting from the 5th station, I got done a little early and managed to detour down below the tree line to the 6th station (the 5th station is a replacement 5th station which is higher than it used to be and higher than the 6th so no one goes there anymore) but didn't have a route back to the train station from the bottom of the mountain or time to go all the way down and back up so I didn't really get to explore Aokigahara, and it was summer so no cherry blossoms for me. Even so when you go below the treeline at Fuji it is beautiful and the pictures do it no justice.

Apparently talkin' 'bout Japan is like gifs... so here goes a domain for everyone's favorite orc and janitor the always patient and selfless Lug.

Janitor Domain (Lug the Janitor)

Granted Power: Add Hide to your Cleric class skills. While dressed in your holy garb (janitorial clothes) and carry cleaning tools you may hide without cover or concealment in urban environments as long as you do nothing that might draw specific attention to you such as draw a weapon or stare at someone.

Domain Spells:
Friendly FaceRoD
Reflective DisguiseSpC
Lug’s Cloak of Invisibility (See Below)
Create FetchCSc
Lug’s Mass Cleansing (See Below)
Dispel Magic, Greater
Limited Wish
Death PactSpC
Causality Breaker (See below)

Lug's Cloak of Invisibility:
Abjuration
Level: Janitor 3
Components: V, S, DF
Casting Time: 1 full round
Range: Personal
Target: Self
Duration: 1 minute/level (D)
Saving Throw: Will negates (see below)
Spell Resistance: No.
This spell functions as Hide from Undead (PHB 241) except instead of affecting only undead it functions against all creatures with HD no greater than one-half your caster level, and the spell does not end unless you touch or attack a creature with HD no greater than one-half your caster level.
Balance Comparison: Invisibility to Enemies (Oriental Adventures 106). Longer duration (1 minute/level instead of 3 rounds). Is self only instead of touch. Works on all creatures with low enough HD instead of all hostile creatures.

Lug's Mass Cleansing:
Conjuration (Healing)/Transmutation
Level: Janitor 5
Components: V, S, DF
Casting Time: 1 minute
Range: Medium (100 ft + 10 ft/caster level)
Area: 20 ft radius burst
Duration: Instantaneous
Saving Throw: Will negates (harmless)
Spell Resistance: Yes (harmless).

When you cast this spell the spirit of Lug washes over the targeted area cleansing it. All traces of disease, whether in objects or creatures, within the area are wiped away, as is all grime. All surfaces and creatures in the area are cured of all diseases (as if each were targeted separately by a remove disease (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/spells/removeDisease.htm) spell), and made squeaky clean. Oozes in the area take 1d6 damage/caster level (max 15d6), and ooze paraelementals and other creatures made of filth take 1d10 damage/caster level (max 20d10).

Causality Breaker:
Transmutation
Level: Janitor 9.
Components: V, S, Sacrifice, XP
Casting Time: 1 standard action.
Range: Medium (100-ft +10-ft/caster level)
Area: Emanation centered on you out to maximum range.
Duration: Instantaneous.
Saving Throw: None
Spell Resistance: Yes (see below)
You may change the events of the last round. You may undo the results of any one action (each attack in a full attack is defined as a separate action for this effect) per 6 caster levels (max 4 actions at Lv 24). This allows you to undo one creature’s movement, make a success on an attack, skill, ability, caster level or similar check a failure (but not a failure into a success), make a failed saving throw into a successful one, undo the casting of a spell other than Wish (this restores the spell slot, material components, and XP costs), undo the use of a supernatural or spell-like ability (assuming it is activated), or undo another action such as drawing a weapon, opening a door, or other such action. Only portions of actions which took place in the area can be undone, so if a spell was cast outside of the area targeting creatures inside it the actual casting could not be affected, but the target's save could be. Another example a creature outside of the area moves into it, movement outside of the area could not be affected while movement inside could be stopped and therefore you could stop the creature's movement just within the area. If the creature instead moved from within the area to outside the area you could stop it from having began its movement, thus placing it back where it had started its movement.

If a creature has spell resistance it applies to any attempt to undo one of its actions; you roll only once for each such creature and should you fail you do not undo any of their actions.

Sacrifice: 1 Con burn per action reversed.

XP: 500 XP per action reversed.

Janitor Devotion:
You are dedicated to the way of the custodian. Whenever a job needs doin’ you’re ready with mop and wit.
Prerequisites: Profession (Janitor) 5 ranks.
Benefit: 2/day you may, as an immediate action, replace any attack roll, saving throw, or skill check you make with a Profession (Janitor) check. Alternatively you may replace your AC with a Profession (Janitor) check against 1 attack after knowing whether that attack would hit your AC or not.
Special: You may take this feat multiple times, each time you do you gain 2 extra daily uses of this feat.
Special: If you have the ability to Turn or Rebuke Undead you may spend 2 turn attempts to gain an extra daily use of this feat.

You may consider my permission to be permanently given.

Clone Domain (kellbyb)

Granted Power: Disguise is a cleric class skill for you, you can ignore up to -2 to your disguise checks from disguising yourself as a different gender, race, or age category, and you gain the Assume Quirk skill trick (Complete Scoundrel) even if you do not meet its prerequisites, it does not count against your maximum number of skill tricks known.

Domain Spells:
Disguise Self
Reflective DisguiseSpC
Duplicative Polymorph (see below)
Create FetchCSc
Shadow Evocation
Reflective Disguise, MassSpC
Clone
Simulacrum (if banned increase Clone to 8th and add Greater Shadow Conjuration for 7th)
Ice Assassin (if banned Shapechange if that is banned Shades)

Duplicative Polymorph:
Transmutation
Level: Clone 3
Components: V, S, DF
Casting Time: 1 standard action
Range: Personal
Target: Self
Duration: 1 minute/level (D)

This spell functions as Polymorph except the assumed form may have no more than 10 HD or your CL whichever is lower and you must touch the creature whose form you seek to assume.

Clone Devotion:
You really like imitating others.
Prerequisites: Disguise 5 ranks, Perform (Act) 3 ranks.
Benefit: 1/day you may mimic the action of another creature within 30 ft that was taken since the end of your last turn. You take that action immediately as if you were the original user using the other creature's stats for all purposes. If that action had an XP cost you must still pay it and you must provide any expensive material components. You may choose new targets for the action and a new location. This takes the same action as the action being mimicked. If the mimicked action had a duration of longer than 1 minute per character level you possess, other than Permanent, your copy of it has a duration of 1 minute per character level.
Special: You may take this feat multiple times each time you do you gain 1 extra daily use of it.
Special: If you have the ability to Turn or Rebuke Undead you may spend 3 turn attempts to gain an extra daily use of this feat.

Alright first things first:

If y'all like you some homebrew base classes you ought to check out the Base Class Challenge (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?367530-Base-Class-Challenge-Chat-Thread-IV-All-Your-Base-Class-Are-Belong-to-Us) no active contest atm (expect one at the end of the month) as it is currently voting till the 29th (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?475126-Base-Class-Challenge-XXXI-Voting-Thread). This is where most of the base classes I've made and snitch ideas from to make Granted Powers and Devotion feats come from.

And the real reason for this obligatory plug is that I've started the Ancillary Contest (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?399650-3-X-Ancillary-Contest-Chat-Thread) for more minor pieces of brew (feats, spells, magic items, vestiges, soulmelds, etc) back up so you might want to take a look, current theme: Community (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?476329-3-X-Ancillary-Contest-VII-Community-the-Many-as-One). This is what I think some of you might actually want to enter because it's less work, just a few spells, vestiges, soulmelds... the stuff made in these threads.

I'd link the current PrC and Monster contests but both of those are dead, and I'm not running another.

Aberrant Domain (Eldan)

Granted Power: You gain Aberration Blood as a bonus feat. You do not need to meet the prerequisites for this feat.

Domain Spells:

Detect AberrationsLoM
Undulant InnardsLoM
Evard’s Menacing TentaclesPHBII
Evard’s Black Tentacles
Transformation of the DepthsStorm
Flaying TendrilsCM
Bite of the Umberhulk (see below)

Weird

BITE OF THE UMBERHULK
Enchantment (Compulsion) [Mind-Affecting]/Transmutation
Level: Aberrant 7, bard 6, cleric 7, player in yellow 6, thrall of shub-niggurath 6, sorcerer/wizard 7
Components: V, S, Thrall
Casting Time: 1 standard action
Range: Personal
Target: You
Duration: 1 round/level

With an inhuman cry, your face extends and expands a second pair of eyes forming upon your head, and your hands enlarge into thick claws. Powerful muscle builds under your skin, even as it thickens into a hardened carapace, and you become a half-umber hulk creature.

You gain a +12 enhancement bonus to Strength, a +2 enhancement bonus to Dexterity, a +8 enhancement bonus to Constitution, and a +8 enhancement bonus to natural armor. Your hands become claws, granting you two claw attacks, and your mouth becomes that of an umber hulk, giving you a bite attack. You can attack with both claws at your full attack bonus, but your bite attack takes a –2 penalty (as if you had the Multiattack feat). Each claw deals 2d4 points of damage (1d6 if you are Small) + your Str modifier, and your bite deals 2d8 points of damage (2d6 if you are Small) + 1/2 your Str modifier. You gain tremorsense 60 ft, and the benefit of the Great Fortitude feat as well. If your base attack bonus is +6 or higher, you do not gain any additional attacks.

Once during the duration of this spell you can add additional energy into it as a free action to gain a confusing gaze for 1 round. This functions as a gaze attack and any creature meeting your gaze must make a Will save (same DC as this spell would normally have) or be confused as the spell confusion for 1 round. This is a mind-affecting compulsion effect.

Special: If cast as an Aberrant domain spell replace the Thrall component with your Divine Focus.

Aberrant Devotion:
You serve the aberrant masters well.
Benefit: Once per day as a swift action you can invoke the power of aberrations allowing it to flow through you. For one minute you gain the benefits of one Aberrant Feat plus one per 4 character levels. You may select Aberrant Blood as one of these feats even if you do not fulfill its prerequisites but otherwise must fulfill all prerequisites for the selected feats.
Special: You may take this feat multiple times, each time you do so you gain an extra daily use of it.
Special: If you have the ability to turn or rebuke undead, you may gain one additional use of this feat for every two turn or rebuke attempts you expend.

Several, but all were reprints from other books. There was a (Vile) Darkness domain (originally Darkness in BoVD but there was also Darkness in FRCS), Corruption (originally BoVD), Force (I think it was in 3.0, might have been Dragon Mag, but also CDivine), Hatred (FRCS), Madness (think it was Deities and Demigods but also CDivine), and Mind (XPH and maybe elsewhere).

Protected Domain (VirusInk)

Granted Power: At the beginning of each of your turns you gain 1 + 1/2 your class level temp hp.

Domain Spells:

Sanctuary
Shielding Other (see below)
Call Big Brother (see below)
Restraining Order (see below)
Protection of the Gods (see below)
Call Red Fel (see below)
Spell Turning
Call Dragon Protector (see below)
Prismatic Sphere

Shielding Other
Abjuration
Level: Protected 2
Components: V, S, DF
Casting Time: 1 standard action
Range: Close (25 ft. + 5 ft./2 levels)
Target: One creature
Duration: 1 hour/level (D)
Saving Throw: No
Spell Resistance: No

The subject of this spell wards you as the spell creates a mystic connection between you and the subject so that some of your wounds are transferred to it. The subject must be conscious and willing to receive the effects of this spell (though they do not have to be informed as to its nature). You gain a +1 deflection bonus to AC and a +1 resistance bonus on saves. Additionally, the you take only half damage from all wounds and attacks (including that dealt by special abilities) that deal hit point damage. The amount of damage not taken by you is taken by the warding creature. Forms of harm that do not involve hit points, such as charm effects, temporary ability damage, level draining, and death effects, are not affected. If you suffer a reduction of hit points from a lowered Constitution score, the reduction is not split with the warding creature because it is not hit point damage. When the spell ends, subsequent damage is no longer divided between the subject and you, but damage already split is not reassigned to you.

If you and the subject of the spell move out of range of each other, the spell ends.

Call Big Brother
Evocation [Good, Force, Lawful]
Level: Protected 3
Components: V, S, DF
Casting Time: 1 standard action
Range: Close (25 ft. + 5 ft./2 levels)
Effect: One orb of force.
Duration: Instantaneous
Saving Throw: No
Spell Resistance: No

You invoke the holy power of your older brother firing it off in the form of a 1" diameter sphere of pure Force which streaks from your palm
toward a target which attempted to harm you in the last round. You must succeed on a ranged touch attack to hit the target. The orb deals 1d6 points of damage per caster level (maximum 10d6) increasing to 1d8 points of damage per caster level (maximum 15d8) if the target is Evil aligned.

Special: You may ignore a Cleric's restrictions on casting aligned spells when casting this spell.

Restraining Order
Abjuration
Level: Protected 4
Components: V, S, DF
Casting Time: 1 standard action
Range: Up to 10 ft./level
Area: Up to 10-ft.-radius/level emanation centered on you
Duration: 1 round/level (D)
Saving Throw: Will negates
Spell Resistance: Yes

This spell functions as Repulsion (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/spells/repulsion.htm) except when you cast it you must name a number of creatures equal to your Wisdom modifier. Only these creatures, and Jormengand (who suffers a -4 penalty to their save), are affected by this casting of the spell.

Protection of the Gods
Abjuration
Level: Protected 5
Components: V, S, DF
Casting Time: 1 immediate action
Range: You
Target: Personal
Duration: 1 round

You gain immunity to all non-self inflicted harmful effects until the start of your next turn. Attacks automatically miss, you automatically save against all effects as if you had mettle and evasion, you are immune to all damage, even normally irresistible or infallible forms of harm are prevented absolutely until the beginning of your next turn.

Call Red Fel
Enchantment (Compulsion)/Evocation [Evil, Lawful, Mind-Affecting]
Level: Protected 6
Components: V, S
Casting Time: 1 standard action
Range: Medium (100 ft. + 10 ft./level)
Target: One living creature which attempted to harm you last turn
Duration: Instantaneous
Saving Throw: Will negates
Spell Resistance: Yes

You invoke the power of Red Fel calling it through your body to strike down one creature that attempted you harm with madness. This functions as Insanity (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/spells/insanity.htm) except you may only use it on a creature that attempted to harm you within the last round.

Special: You may ignore a Cleric's restrictions on casting aligned spells when casting this spell and it is not an evil act to cast it.

Call Dragon Protector
Conjuration (Summoning) [Chaotic, Evil]
Level: Protected 8
Components: V, S, DF
Casting Time: 1 full-round action
Range: Close (25 ft. + 5 ft./2 levels)
Effect: One young adult plague dragon.
Duration: 1 minute/caster level.

When you cast this spell a young adult plague dragon appears at the location you designate within range. You do not have control of this dragon, but it will act in whatever way it sees best as to protect you from immediate harm and will do nothing to impede your own actions unless you are acting under a Charm or Compulsion effect or are possessed.

The summoned plague dragon (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showsinglepost.php?p=10939842&postcount=844) has the following stats:

Young Adult Plague Dragon (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showsinglepost.php?p=10939842&postcount=844) (gender unknown): Large Dragon (Water); HD: 17d12+68; hp 178; Init: +4; Spd: 40-ft, fly 150-ft (poor), swim 40-ft; AC: 25 (-1 size, +16 natural), t 9, FF 25; BAB/Grp: +17/+27; Attack Bite +23 melee (2d6+6 and disease and Festering Wounds); Full Attack Bite +23 melee (2d6+6 and disease and Festering Wounds), 2 claws +20/+20 melee (1d8+3), 2 wings +20/+20 melee (1d6+3), and tail slap +20 melee (1d8+9); S/R: 10-ft/5-ft (10-ft with bite); SA: Breath Weapon, Diseased Saliva, Festering Wounds, Frightful Presence, Spellcasting; SQ: Blindsense 60 ft, damage reduction 5/magic, immunity to acid, disease, sleep, and paralysis, keen senses, SR 22, water breathing; Sv Fort +14, Ref +10, Will +11; Str 23, Dex 10, Con 19, Int 12, Wis 13, Cha 12.

Skills: Bluff +6, Concentration +19, Intimidate +23, Knowledge (arcana) +21, Listen +21, Sense Motive +23, Spellcraft +23, Spot +21. Speaks Draconic and Common.

Feats: Ability Focus (Breath Weapon), Improved Initiative, Large and in ChargeDraco, Multiattack, Protection DevotionCC, Weapon Focus (Bite).

Breath Weapon: A 40-ft cone of disgusting, bacteria-ridden acidic sludge. This cone deals 10d4 acid damage and also deals 2 point of Constitution damage. A DC 24 Reflex save halves both, and a DC 24 Fort save is also required. On a successful Fort save the Con damage is further halved (or reduced to 0 if both saves are successful), but on a failure the creature becomes infected with Black Spit (see below).
Black Spit: The disease’s name come from one of the more interesting symptoms, it colors the patient’s saliva and phlegm an ashy black. As a warning to caretakers the disease seems to spread through bodily fluids. This is a supernatural disease.
Incubation Period: 1d4+1 days; 1d4 hours via a plague dragon’s breath weapon. Fort save DC: 22. Damage: 1d3 Constitution, and 1 Wisdom.

Diseased Saliva (Ex): The plague dragon's bite carries a particularly virulent, and fast acting, strain of Red Ache. The incubation period for this strain, when directly inflicted by the plague dragon, is 1d8+1 hours, otherwise it is 1 day. The Fort save DC, when directly inflicted, is 22, when not directly inflicted the DC is only 16 (1 higher than normal for Red Ache). Finally the damage is increased to 1d8 Strength damage.

Festering Wounds (Ex): Elements in the plague dragon’s diseased saliva also prevents wounds from closing properly. Any creature that takes damage from the plague dragon’s bite attack suffers an additional 1 damage per round until they receive at least 1 point of magical healing or someone performs a DC 20 heal check as a standard action to remove the chemicals.

Frightful Presence (Ex): The dragon can unsettle foes with its mere presence. The ability takes effect automatically whenever the dragon attacks, charges, or flies overhead. Creatures within a radius of 180 feet are subject to the effect if they have fewer than 17 HD. A potentially affected creature that succeeds on a Will save (DC 19) remains immune to that dragon’s frightful presence for 24 hours. On a failure, creatures with 4 or less HD become panicked for 4d6 rounds and those with 5 or more HD become shaken for 4d6 rounds. Dragons ignore the frightful presence of other dragons.

Keen Senses (Ex): A dragon sees four times as well as a human in shadowy illumination and twice as well in normal light. It also has darkvision out to 120 feet.

Spellcasting: The plague dragon casts spells as a 1st level sorcerer. It can cast 5 0 level spells and 4 1st level spells each day and knows the following spells. 0 level: Detect Magic, Ghost Sound, Mending, and Prestidigitation. 1st: Mage Armor, and Protection from Evil.

Withstand Magic (Su): Any disease inflicted by the plague dragon is hard to remove even by magic. Any attempt to magically remove the disease, such as by the Remove Disease spell, is prevented unless the caster makes a successful Caster Level check (DC 22). A paladin using their Remove Disease spell-like ability gains a +5 to their Caster Level to remove the disease, and a unicorn gains a +10 to their caster level when using their racial Remove Disease spell-like ability. This affects any disease inflicted by the plague dragon even extraordinary ones, and those inflicted by it in an anti-magic field (this ability is negated in an anti-magic field, though, hence it is supernatural).

Special: You may ignore a Cleric's restrictions on casting aligned spells when casting this spell and it is not an evil act to cast it.

Protected Devotion
The gods favor you with their protection.
Benefit: Once per day as an immediate action, you can activate a protective aura. While it is active, you gain a +2 sacred (if your deity is good or neutral) or profane (if your deity is evil) bonus to AC. This bonus increases by 1 for every five character levels you possess (maximum +6 at 20th level). In addition you gain DR 1/- which also increases by 1 for every five character levels you possess (maximum DR 6/-). This effect lasts for 1 minute.
Special: You can select this feat multiple times, gaining one additional daily use each time you take it.
Special: If you have the ability to turn or rebuke undead, you gain one additional daily use of this feat for each three daily turn or rebuke uses you expend.

Alternative Jormengand Devotion, inspired by his class in 30 minutes project:

Jormengand Devotion
You posses the ability to craft entirely new spells in an incredibly short time.
Prerequisite: ability to cast spells.
Benefit: Once per day, you can research an entirely new spell in the space of thirty minutes, and immediately add it to your spell list. This spell must be roughly in line with the type of spells on your class spell list, and like all new spells must be approved by the DM. If you prepare spells, you may expend one spell of an equal or greater level than the new spell to immediately prepare the new spell. If you have a limited number of spells known or a fixed set of spells known, you must lose knowledge of one spell of an equal level to the new spell to use this feat.
Special: If you have the ability to turn or rebuke undead, you gain one additional daily use of this feat for each four daily turn or rebuke uses you expend.

...Probably broken.

Yes, yes I do. That's how the story goes. It's better to lose with style than win with none. Makes a more entertaining narrative. And stops me from becoming Light (http://i215.photobucket.com/albums/cc127/technics1289/Anime%20Gifs/LightYagamiGifBeingACompleteBastard.gif) in the second half of the series. I too have dove down the homebrew dragons rabbit hole.
Mine were clumsy and overpowered though.

Though when we applied the Anthropomorphic template and allowed for aging was when it got really silly.
We did it all "right" though. Was way back when Savage Species was new and all seemed less grim in the land of playable monsters.

Alas, those days are gone for 3.x.

Oh, Snuff-a-Bloo. Your psychotic behavior doesn't bother me! I'm secretly a smidge unstable myself, but I'm just better at hiding it! I trick my foes into thinking I'm lovable first. Much for satisfying when you see their demise!

Though, I do appreciate the lack of hugs and I like to keep my blood in my body not in a bath tub.

No seriously. There need to be less of them, and they should each be unique. The business of making all these different species of them, with different rules for each age category, and even having rules for half-dragon or dragon-blooded whatever turns them into just another fantasy pest and takes away their majesty.

Ah so they should be Godzilla, but in a world with fewer kaiju. I don't disagree.

In D&D terms you could perhaps be represented by an Elder Dragon of Legend or somesuch. Some dragon what after aging to nigh infinity has transcended mortality and now reincarnates as its own unique type of dragon. Basically the Dr Who meets the Highlander of dragons.

A template would be just the thing. Changes size to Colossal Plus (Draconomicon) at least. The sort of dragon that is the mountain you were climbing. That is the planet you were spelljamming towards. That is the challenge you won't overcome. All without being quite a divinity of course.

So a Godzilla, Dr Who, Highlander, Galactus dragon template is what's needed. Call it the Eonic Epoch Dragon or something to focus on it's immeasurable age and power.

Ok, fine... Marlowe (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showsinglepost.php?p=9432044&postcount=58), one at a time, apocalyptic beast of cataclysm from before the sundering of Good and Evil when Asmodeus still wore the name Ahriman, and which is born only to bring forth the destruction of Order so that a new world can be forged, a beast that should it be able to survive to full growth is able to destroy the civilizations of man with but a wingbeat, changing the continents themselves and bringing forth annihilation of continents.

Also from someone who made 100+ species of true dragons this might sound hypocritical but really there should only be maybe 2 species on any one planet.

Also is a dragon made through horrible ritual in which you shove the souls of two lovers you murdered just to taint the essence of a yet to be hatched gold wyrmling into said wyrmling to create a dragon of Taint close enough to your Eva reference? Because in that case you might need to ride Snowbluff. Or maybe mass produced semi-mechanical dragons (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showsinglepost.php?p=9436302&postcount=80) made from pieces of a comatose draconic demigod to fight attacking dragons?

They messed up planar structure in 3.0's Manual of the Planes. No more balance between the Ethereal and Astral Plane, no more Quasielemental and Paraelemental Planes, no longer was there a reason why the Inner Planes felt like Inner Planes and everything felt dry and boring. No more vibrancy of life to the Outer Planes, and Elysium instead of being the opposite of the Gray Wastes in it was a place which heroes could go for a time to rest and which made enchantment almost impossible because Good does not enslave minds was suddenly... enslaving people into blandness in the exact same way as the Gray Wastes. And the Abyss. The Abyss which once held Chaos in a myriad of a hundred ways, infinite layers of madness many of which even the tanar'ri feared to enter and which were only spoken of in hushed whispers of fluff, little teases that they were strange, alien realms that twisted the mind and soul, places where physics as we know it completely broke down, had that gutted from it to make room for the Far Realm which would have been interesting if they'd expanded it beyond 'it's chaotic and evil' and made it live up to the beyond Good and Evil of Lovecraft's mythos, but instead they just made it the Abyss 2.0 This Time it's Edgier... which wasn't needed because the Abyss already had that.

3.0 Planes disappointed me heavily. FCI is the only good thing WotC did with the planes since they canned Planescape.

NeoPhoenix0
2016-01-26, 12:27 AM
yeah, i get that. You can still find small hints of old abyss in tiny little paragraphs tucked away in places nobody will ever look. Also, hate the Tanar'ri, they just seem so tame compared to everything, though i guess their whole shtick is a nigh infinite number. The Obyriths always seemed cooler.

The Far Realm however isn't really like that, at least it wasn't at first. Then they started explaining it more and more. Every time they try to explain it it gets stupider.

Eh, even late 2e when the Far Realm was introduced it sort of came off as the Abyss 2.0 But Edgier. 3e's Manual of the Planes was its best presentation (note the person who wrote the module that introduced it wrote the Manual of the Planes as I learned when I tracked down where it was from to see how the idea had gotten down this sad little path), and, not coincidentally to my mind, it's scantest and least detailed. I think the best explanation for the Far Realm is that some clueless berk mistook a layer of the Abyss, or 20 since one of its traits has been fluid layers you could accidentally pass through, for a whole new reality. Which wouldn't be as clueless as it sounds since there'd always been hints that the Abyss extends outside of the cosmology, and would explain why the Far Realm is sort of Evil.

And yeah the tanar'ri are boring as... well I'd say Hell but Baator is fascinating. The best thing they have going for them is the Blood War and that's because the Baatezu and Yugoloths actually can get interesting.

Wait, what was the point of this thread again?

I'll be honest; I completely agree with you. Dragons are far more common (and not nearly as powerful, IMO) as they should be. People treat them as if they were another throwaway monster of the weak, when in reality, they should be more like the secret boss you unlock after completing 100% of the game and it still kills you at least 75% of the time. I don't even care that I'm mixing my comparisons here.

I've recently decided to take a new stance on dragons in my campaigns. Half-dragons would be unheard of, while things like Dragonblooded would come as more of a racial desire to emulate the ancient beings rather than being descended from them. Dragon-based classes, be they Shaman, Disciple, or -fire Adept would be nearly nonexistent.

While minor dragon (like wyverns) would be around, True Dragons would be extremely rare, effectively unique in their species. I wouldn't make them younger than Ancient (if even that young), and most of them would have class levels and other traits to male them unique. They would be so reclusive that most people would assume them to be little more than myths and legends.

If the party were to encounter one, it would be an Epic-level challenge, and I wouldn't guarantee any of them would even survive the encounter. These dragons would be objects of fear and awe, powerful enough that the gods themselves would hesitate to challenge them. In fact, the dragon gods would be nonexistent, for these beings are as old as Aboleths, if not even older. They remember a time before any divine beings in existence, save for members of the Ancient Pantheon, namely Zaydos the Creator and Nidhogg, the Wyrm Magnus. (Yeah, I'd be using some of the GitP Regulars as Gods. :smalltongue:)

How does that sound for a concept?

Mythozoology Domain (Debihuman)

Granted Power: You gain a +3 to all Knowledge checks made to identify creatures (or as part of Knowledge Devotion or similar), and may make such checks untrained.

Domain Spells:
Embrace the WildSpC
Lore of the GodsCC
Know VulnerabilitiesSpC
Polymorph

Mythozoology Devotion
Can I just write Knowledge Devotion at top and go “As Knowledge Devotion”? No, fine.
Benefit: Upon selecting this feat, you immediately add one Knowledge skill of your choice to your list of class skills. Thereafter, you treat that skill as a class skill, regardless of which class you are advancing in. Whenever you fight a creature, you can make a Knowledge check based on its type, as described on page 78 of the Player’s Handbook, provided that you have at least one rank in the appropriate Knowledge skill.

You then receive an insight bonus on AC against that creature type for the remainder of the combat and DR equal to the insight bonus against its attacks as long as you are not flat-footed. The amount of the bonus depends on your Knowledge check result, as given on the following table.

Check ResultBonus
15 or below +1
16-25 +2
26-30 +3
31-35 +4
36 or higher +5

You can make only one Knowledge check per creature type per combat. If you fight creatures of multiple types during the same combat, you can make one Knowledge check per type, thereby possibly gaining different bonuses against different opponents.

I didn't want to do this yet...

from the selfish one
harem domain(khadgar567)

-snip-

No, no, no, you're supposed to let someone else make a Domain of You, not make yourself as a Domain. Besides that Granted Power is broken in so many ways. You don't need a second one when your first one equates to a 75% increase to character power, and you don't need any granted power that is a slightly improved version of a feat that literally grants you a second character. And the devotion feat runs into that problem and the additional problem that it mechanistically requires cleric levels where devotion feats as designed are there to allow you to play a devout non-cleric with additional bonuses if you are a cleric (except Knowledge Devotion, it doesn't get those bonuses for clerics for some reason).

So...

M(aid) C(aptain) Domain (khadgar567)
Granted Power: Your Charm and Compulsion spells are not blocked by Protection from Evil or other effects which replicate it (including Magic Circle against Evil). 1/day you can use Unseen Servant as a spell-like ability (CL = Cleric level).

Domain Spells:
Charm Person
Servant HordeSpC
Suggestion
Charm Person, MassRoD
Dominate Person
Geas/Quest
Simulacrum (if banned TransfixSpC)
True DominationSpC
Programmed AmnesiaSpC

M.C. Devotion:
You are devoted to your desire to have maids. Very devoted indeed.
Benefit: Any creature that accepts its place as your loyal servant, such as followers or loyal henchmen, or any creature that you summon or control completely through a compulsion effect gains a +1 perfection bonus to Wisdom based skill checks, and Will saves. 1/day as a swift action you may further empower all such creatures within 60 ft of you granting them a +1 + 1/5 levels perfection bonus to one of attack rolls, AC, or all skill checks for 1 minute.
Special: You may take this feat multiple times each time you do you gain an extra daily use of its limited use ability.
Special: If you have the ability to turn or rebuke undead, you may gain one daily additional use of the daily ability for every three turn or rebuke attempts you expend.

The granted power is big, especially from a world building point of view in that Prot from Evil is no longer Prot from Mind Control. Personal power wise it's not necessarily the biggest (a DM can still find ways to protect key NPCs) but it comes with a list that actually expands a cleric's possibilities by granting those now much improved Charm and Dominate spells so that swings it heavily in the strong direction before the fact that it gets Person and not Monster only... Still the spells are fairly powerful and coupled with Domination domain you've got something terrifying. Spells wise you get charm and compulsion, good against people, not good against bugs. Still you're a cleric you can handle some mindless threats.

The devotion feat let's you play the leader in a way, though the compulsion part gives it some hints towards evil. It isn't the biggest static bonus and it's AC bonus is smaller than Protection but it makes up for it in the versatility, Prot is always AC, this is better if you sometimes want Attack rolls (which it is just plain good for) or maybe you have a real need for a skill buff some time. Let's you be some sort of creepy maid dude without being a cleric, and given Leadership's tendency to be hard banned Leadership + at Lv 1 is probably not a good design in general.

I generally like to portray dragons as the material plane's answer to outsiders. The dragons know that they're the uncontested lords of the prime (they just don't exercise that power often, because they're content to sit on their piles of gold and because there's a lot of inter-dragon squabbling), and want to keep it that way. The first few times a full-scale invasion came from the outer planes (whether from the lower planes seeking conquest or the upper planes seeking to "purify" the world or whatever), the dragons united and utterly annihilated the interlopers. Since then, the celestial and infernal lords have been too frightened to launch more large incursions, and the lesser demons who are dumb enough to try usually get mopped up by whichever dragon's territory they end up in. Naturally, Bahamut and Tiamat don't exist in my games; there are still dragon cults, but they're much more diverse and are often devoted to specific dragons.

Death Knight Domain (Extra Anchovies)

Nice. Lots of good stuff for an undead-loving1 fightan' cleric. I especially like the devotion feat. Also, getting Vampiric Touch on a cleric is pretty badass (Enervation is nice too, but it can't fit in a Spell Storing weapon).

1no, not like that2. Get your mind out of the gutter.

2Or at least not like that in this particular context. What I do in my spare time with consenting vampires3 is none of your business anyways.

3Or other intelligent undead. Don't judge.

Even though it's only rarely a factor, CL is still a factor on occasion in truenaming, and one must pay attention to the details.

Neutrality Domain (Seto)

Granted Power: You gain Spell Resistance 16 + Cleric level against spells and spell-like abilities with an alignment descriptor ([Chaotic], [Evil], [Good], or [Lawful]), and Spell Resistance 6 + Cleric level against spells and spell-like abilities cast by a creature with an alignment subtype.

Domain Spells:
Endure Elements
Calm Emotions
DisobedienceCSc
(Leomund’s) Secure Shelter
True Seeing
Heroes’ Feast
Word of BalanceSpC
(Mordenkainen’s) Mage’s Magnificent Mansion
Balance the Scales (see below)

Balance the Scales:
Conjuration (Healing)/Necromancy
Level: Cleric 9, Neutrality 9
Components: V, DF
Casting Time: 1 standard action
Range: 40 ft
Targets: Any number of creatures within range.
Duration: Instantaneous
Saving Throw: Will partial.
Spell Resistance: Yes.

This spell channels Positive and Negative Energy as you direct into creatures within range (potentially including yourself). If you channel a type of energy into a creature which heals it (typically Positive for living creatures, and Negative for undead, sometimes both) they are healed 1d6 damage/caster level and receive the benefits of a http://www.d20srd.org/srd/spells/restoration.htm] ( restoration[/i] spell; a successful Will save halves this healing and prevents the restoration effect. If you channel a type of energy into a which damages it (typically Negative for living creatures, and Positive for undead) they receive 1d6 damage/caster level and 1 negative level (as this is a result of positive energy in the case of undead immunity to energy drain does not apply); a successful Will save halves this damage and prevents the negative level.

Neutrality Devotion:
You exude an aura that protects you and those around you from being forcibly dragged into the fight.
Benefit: Once per day as an immediate action, you can activate a protective aura. While it is active, you gain a +2 sacred (since your deity is neutral) bonus to Will saves, as does every ally within 30 feet of you. This bonus increases by 1 for every four character levels you possess (maximum +7 at 20th level). This effect lasts for 1 minute.
Special: You can select this feat multiple times, gaining one additional daily use each time you take it.
Special: If you have the ability to turn or rebuke undead, you gain one additional daily use of this feat for each three daily turn or rebuke uses you expend.

Permapermission granted. Go nuts! :p

Nuke Domain (Atomburster)

New Damage type - Radiation Damage: Radiation damage represents a destructive blast of near pure energy, a mix of heat, kinetic force, and molecular bond breaking destructive energy. It is difficult for living creatures to heal radiation damage (unliving creature heal it normally). It does not heal naturally, including through fast healing, without the assistance of a trained healer (requiring a DC 20 heal check) and even then heals at half the normal rate and each point of radiation damage healed by a magic spell or effect counts as 2 hit points for the amount that the healing spell or effect can heal, and radiation damage is always healed after regular damage. So, for example, if you have 36 radiation damage and 100 normal damage and a 15th level cleric casts Heal on you you'd be healed all your regular damage and 25 points of radiation damage; alternatively if you have 14 radiation damage and no normal damage and a cleric casts Close Wounds on you healing 7 hit points you'd be healed 3 radiation damage and have 11 damage currently.

New Condition - Radiation Sickness: Radiation Sickness deals 1d6 Constitution damage when acquired and each day the target must make a Fortitude save (same DC) or suffer 1d6 Constitution damage; three successful saves in a row remove this effect, and a heal check may be used to treat this as if it were a disease, however a remove disease will not although a heal spell will.

Granted Power: You radiate an aura of destructive energy. Any creature beginning its turn adjacent to you or entering a square adjacent to you takes 1d6 radiation damage; no matter how often a creature enters and exits your aura during a turn this ability never triggers more than once per round. A successful Fortitude save (DC 10 +1/2 your Cleric level + your Charisma modifier) negates this damage. You may suppress or reactivate this aura as a move-equivalent action.

Domain Spells:

Nuclear Whisper (see below)
Nuclear Claws (see below)
Wasting Touch (see below)
Globes of Destruction (see below)
Step of Desolation (see below)
Nuclear Torch (see below)
Energized Magical Pulse (see below)
Reduce to Salt (see below)
Drop the Bomb (see below)

Nuclear Whisper
Evocation.
Level: Nuke 1, Sorcerer/Wizard 1.
Components: V, DF
Casting Time: Standard action.
Range: Close.
Target: 1 living creature.
Duration: Permanent (see below).
Saving Throw: Fort partial.
Spell Resistance: Yes.
With a word you call a blast of radioactive energy down upon the target, inflicting a wasting upon them.
The target takes 1d6 + Caster level radiation damage and suffers 1d4 Constitution damage. A successful Fortitude save halves the damage, prevents the Constitution damage. The target takes this damage every day until they successfully save against it, a single successful save ends this effect and prevents its repetition.

Nuclear Claws
Evocation
Level: Nuke 2.
Components: S
Casting Time: Swift action.
Range: Personal.
Target: You.
Duration: 1 round/caster level.
You flex your hands, radioactive green flames bursting to writhe around them.
Claws form around your hand, providing light as a torch (this is not treated as magical light). These claws can be used as either primary or secondary natural weapons dealing 1d4 + strength (if primary) or ½ strength (if secondary) damage +1 radiation damage per 2 caster levels. The damage of these claws is modified by your size, dealing 1d3 if small or 1d6 if large. If you already have claws you do not gain a second pair of claws but add your radiation damage to your previous claws' damage if it is higher than that of these claws.

Wasting Touch
Evocation
Level: Nuke 3, Sorcerer/Wizard 3
Components: S, DF
Casting Time: Standard action.
Range: Touch.
Target: Creature touched.
Duration: Instantaneous.
Saving Throw: Yes.
Spell Resistance: Yes.
Filling your hand with radiation you send it flowing into a touched creature, sickening them with a wasting sickness.
The touched target must make a Fortitude save or contract radiation sickness immediately taking 1d6 Constitution damage, and continuing to take damage from the disease daily until it is cured (see above for definition of radiation sickness).

Globes of Destruction
Evocation
Level: Nuke 4, Sorcerer/Wizard 5.
Components: S, V, DF
Casting Time: Standard action.
Range: Medium (100 ft + 10 ft/caster level).
Effect: 1 globe of radiation/caster level
Duration: 10 minutes/caster level.
Saving Throw: No.
Spell Resistance: Yes.
With an invocation to your dread god, you burst the atoms of the air, forming spheres of nuclear flame.
When you cast this spell you create a number of spheres of semi-constrained tiny nuclear explosions which float about you providing light as a torch equal to your caster level. When you cast this spell, or as a standard action while it is in effect, you may send any number of these spheres streaking towards one or more targets within range. Each sphere is a ranged touch attack, using the same attack roll for multiple spheres directed at the same target, and deals 1d6 radiation damage on a hit. A sphere that hits a target, even if it is prevented by spell resistance, is destroyed, but any sphere that misses returns to you and may be shot out again as a standard action.

Step of Desolation
Conjuration (Teleportation).
Level: Nuke 5.
Components: S, V, DF
Casting Time: Standard action.
Range: Personal.
Target: You.
Duration: Instantaneous.
You speak a word of the wastelands, stepping into the sand and dust only to reappear from another distant part of the waste; for in the unending wasteland all places are one.
You may only activate this invocation in a wasteland, desert, or other place of desolation in which natural life is hard (as determined by the DM). This area must extend at least 300-ft from you in all directions. When you use this invocation you teleport up to 20 miles per caster level to another area of desolation of at least 300-ft in radius. If there is no place of desolation at your intended location you are instead transported to the nearest legal location to your intended location between your current one and the intended one within range. You may bring one willing medium sized (or smaller) creature with you per 3 caster levels, large creatures count as 2 medium creatures, huge as 2 large, and so forth.

Nuclear Torch
Evocation.
Level: Nuke 6, Sorcerer/Wizard 6
Components: S, V, DF
Casting Time: Standard action.
Range: Long (400 ft + 40 ft/caster level).
Area: Line out to maximum range.
Duration: Instantaneous.
Saving Throw: Reflex half.
Spell Resistance: Yes.
Drawing the sign of the mystical giant unknown beast in the air you open your mouth wide and below forth a shout of magic, a nuclear flame searing forth to burn your foes
When you cast this spell you create a line of nuclear fire out to maximum range. Any creature within the line takes 1d6 radiation damage per caster level (max 20d6), Reflex halves.

Energized Magical Pulse
Abjuration.
Level: Nuke 7.
Components: S, V.
Casting Time: Standard action.
Range: Long (400 ft + 40 ft/caster level).
Area: 20-ft or 40-ft radius burst.
Duration: Instantaneous.
Saving Throw: No.
Spell Resistance: No.
You release a disruptive blast of pure magic overwhelming magical effects in the area, disrupting the most carefully constructed spells.
This functions as an area use Greater Dispel Magic except it gains a bonus to dispel an effect equal to that effects spell level and it has no maximum caster level bonus to the dispel check.

Reduce to Salt
Transmutation
Level: Nuke 8.
Components: S, V, DF.
Casting Time: Standard action.
Range: Close (25 ft + 5 ft/2 caster levels).
Target: 1 living creature.
Duration: Instantaneous.
Saving Throw: Fort partial
Spell Resistance: Yes.
You call upon the fury of your god, bursting the constituting matter of your foe, turning them piece by piece into radioactive salt
The target must make a Fortitude save or be killed as they are reduced into nothing more than a small pile of radioactive salt. This salt may be used for a resurrection spell, and remains radioactive potentially inflicting radiation sickness on any who remain close to it for too long (DC 15 Fort after 1 hour, +2 per extra hour); this radiation eventually fades after weeks, months, or years. On a successful Fortitude save the target simply contracts radiation sickness taking 1d6 Constitution damage immediately, and having to be cured normally.

Drop the Bomb
Evocation/Necromancy
Level: Nuke 9, Sorcerer/Wizard 9.
Components: S, V, DF
Casting Time: Standard action.
Range: Long (400 ft + 40 ft/caster level).
Area: 20-ft, 40-ft, or 60-ft radius burst.
Duration: Instantaneous.
Saving Throw: Reflex halves.
Spell Resistance: Yes.
You call upon your dire god and evoke a fragment of its true form in an apocalyptic force able to sear even the souls of targets, leaving nothing but black shadows upon the walls.
When you cast this spell choose an area either 20-ft, 40-ft, or 60-ft in radius. All creatures within the area take 1d8 radiation damage/caster level (reflex halves). Any creature reduced to 0 or lower hit points by this effect is destroyed utterly, their body and soul both reduced to nothing but a black smear upon the wall or ground. Any creature destroyed by this effect cannot be resurrected without a Wish or Miracle spell to reconstitute its soul and then the normal means to resurrect a creature whose body is completely destroyed.

Nuke Devotion:
You serve the nuclear flame.
Benefit: 1/day as a swift action you may cause yourself to become radioactive. Any creature beginning its turn within 10 ft of you or entering a square within 10 ft of you must make a Fortitude save (DC 10 + ½ character level + Constitution modifier) or contract radiation sickness taking 1d6 Constitution damage; no matter how often a creature enters and exits your aura during a turn this ability never triggers more than once per round against a single creature. If a creature already has radiation sickness they still must save merely taking 1d4 Constitution damage on a failed save.
Special: You can select this feat multiple times, gaining one additional daily use each time you take it.
Special: If you have the ability to turn or rebuke undead, you gain one additional daily use of this feat for each three daily turn or rebuke uses you expend.

I just noticed two things about this post. Why is the first even in question? I mean there's only two yandere to pick from and I made a different domain for Jorm. AND YES, FEED ME SEYMOUR.

You didn't grow up with her. For instance: We know this Wizard and Virus is super abrasive with him, but then gets all melty when he gets close. It's mildly unnerving and causes both my paladin and brother senses to react.

My little sibling is a younger brother so I laugh at your pain.

And... added to my sig ! Thank you for that, I quite enjoy it  Helping all TN Clerics out there to remain the masters of their fates and the captains of their souls !

You're welcome. Tried to mix creature comfort spells (the reason most creatures are TN) with some that were more about reason or balance to get a good inclusive Neutral feel.

Surrounded by tsun-tsun... Does that make you a harem protagonist?

LP wishes. I'm pretty sure he's just part of Snow's harem, though.

*gasp* Am I the snarky and mildly sociopathic side character with a sharp tongue and the best lines?

You could totally be a main character.

Such a clever one. Your brother has taught you well.

Oh no. This is merely from my own observations.

Y'know. That would make sense. Especially having the best lines.

Well this doesn't have to be a harem comedy. THINGS COULD TAKE A DARK TURN AND IT COULD END UP A "WHEN THEY CRY" STYLE STORY.

You're a cutedere.

Deredere means cute dere, in that dere means cute.

Oh no. This is merely from my own observations.

You can trust me, though. Nah, LE/NE dragon, contractually required to be untrustworthy.

I make you things to keep Jorm away.

I'm a HowAboutNoDere.

That'd be a tsundere :smalltongue: You may want a TsunHowABoutNo.

...Trust is a strong word. I do appreciate the things you've made for me though, so I won't write you off! I have to say I've quite enjoyed the things you've come up with.

That'd be a tsundere :smalltongue: You may want a TsunHowABoutNo.
Y'know that'd probably be more accurate now that ya mention it.

Good point.
