Fast Healing – The rock wyrm heals 5 points at the start of its turn

Mimicry – The rock wyrm can mimic most speaking voices perfectly, plus other vocal sounds, such as the croak of a frog, the roar of a red tiger or high bird trills. They have a knack for the repetition of phrases they have listened to, and can echo vocal mannerisms and catchphrases.

Camouflage – The rock wyrm can change the tone, the reflectiveness and the apparent texture of its hide, and has advantage on checks to hide in rocky areas

Actions

Multiattack – The Rock Wyrm makes either one bite attack and 2 claws, one bite attack and one tail attack, or one bite attack and two wing attacks

Bite – Melee Weapon Attack, +8 to hit, reach 10ft
Hit – 13 (4d4 +5) Piercing damage

Claw – Melee Weapon Attack, +5 to hit, reach 10ft
Hit – 10 (2d8 + 2) Slashing damage

Wing – Melee Weapon Attack, +5 to hit, reach 10ft
Hit – 8 (2d6+2) Piercing damage

Tail – Melee Weapon Attack, +5 to hit, reach 10ft
Hit – 13 (2d8 + 5) Bludgeoning damage

Paralysing Ray – (Recharge 4) the rock wyrm can open its third eye and emit a ray. The ray has a range of 60ft and on a successful spell attack roll (+5 to hit), hits one target. The target must succeed on a DC13 Constitution save or be paralysed for 1d8 rounds.

Found in the cold foothills and the mountains of the Savage Frontier, rock wyrms are stealthy predators that rely on carefully crafted ambushes and traps to bring down prey, with the major weapons in their arsenal being the use of traps and their third eye, which stuns prey before they move in for the kill.

With its skill in stealth and perception, and also having enough acumen to be able to use magic items (often taken off victims), the rock wyrm would be one of the most feared creatures in the North, if it were not for the care it takes to avoid groups of creatures. More often than not, other predators or groups of creatures are accused.

While most of the talk in the areas of the north paints these creatures operating alone, there have been rumours that these creatures have started to pool resources and hunt in pairs, for the purpose of avoiding armed bands and strike at isolated targets.

Changed the third eye beam to an action with a recharge instead of 1d4 rounds, and linked a picture to this beast. It only appeared in one FR sourcebook, and as a result its pretty obscure, but its one of the coolest of all dragons and needs more love.
