As a forewarning, I am on mobile. Please forgive errors and the lack of a link.

So my players recently learned of a dragon. As befits something such as this, I wanted it to have some coolio monologue as they progress through it's lair (or if they happen to give it time to speak)

Can anybody recommend some sources I can draw on for it? Currently my main inspiration in the basic structure is the Grigori battle in Dragons Dogma (I warn you of spoilers ahead of time if you look it up)

Google searches have not lead to many relevant things for me, and I figured I'd ask around.

What I always think of, to be honest.

Try not to make it too long, lest your players start battle mid-speech.

Unless it's PbP.

Cumberbatch did it better. (https://youtu.be/w2T4T8xak3k?t=1m42s)

On topic I will say that Shakespearean quotes and monologues always go over well in my groups. The bard is baus.

Disagree. I still hear Richard Boone's roar.

Hmm, well I guess we'll just have to leave it at one of us has better taste in voice actors than the other :smalltongue:

He could have the dragon's words resound through the halls or something like that. Just because you can hear it, that doesn't mean you can kill it right away.

The dragon can cast Vicious Mockery?

I personally prefer witty one-liners.
