I have been playing this MMORPG called the 4th Coming since about 2000 and I recently discovered The 4th Coming V2 (http://stecra.freeserverhost.com/kickstarter/index.html) which is a server that has been around since 2007 or so I think. They have made it much easier to get into the game with basically a fast forwarding of the whole low level n00b game, so getting to level 100x5 (x5 refers to rebirths, where you receive resists and powers that mortals don't have which increase every rebirth, making you into a virtual god at higher levels) takes a day or two, rather than months or even years.
Rather than make the game easier or remove long quests, they have simply inserted all manner of teleport NPCs, teleport scrolls and swarms of monsters to eliminate all the walking and the endless low level grinding. You still have to complete these quests, but the gear and items are easier to get and there is wayyyyyy less of the endless walking around all the time that used to be such a pain in this game.
I am so pleased with this server but there are very few players. Half the fun opf these types of games is other people playing with you, so I am hoping you will all join me in playing The 4th Coming (http://stecra.freeserverhost.com/kickstarter/index.html)
I have played many MMORPGs but this game has always been my favorite and here is why. Rather than choose an archetype such as warrior, wizard or cleric, the player is assigned skill and stat points to assign as they see fit, leading to an endless amount of customization for you to play with. Stats include the usual run of strength, endurance, agility, wisdom and intelligence for players to choose from and, of course, there is an endless array of gear and items to choose from in order to customize your dude.
So come and play with me, I am like the only person on this server!
