I was looking at the lesser dark elves (drow), gray dwarves (duergar), and deep gnomes (svirfneblin) in PGtF and was thinking of incorporating them into a campaign I am working on. I know there are other similar races out there - LA +0 versions of races that ordinarily have a level adjustment of +1 or greater - but am wondering if anyone can point me to some sources. For instance, the lesser planetouched are also mentioned in PGtF but the full entries aren't included.

My plan is to introduce these lesser races at first level and then include a series of racial feats and/or prestige classes (such as Dragon Devotee) that would allow a member of one of these races to eventually transform into a full member of the race but without any level adjustment.

tl;dr - what official sources include lesser (LA+0) versions of races that normally have a level adjustment?

A list of every playable LA +0 race here (http://www.minmaxboards.com/index.php?topic=1281.0) and here (http://ihititwithmyaxe.tumblr.com/post/9678117696/every-playable-race-in-35-dd-without-a-level), along with book citations. You should find any lesser versions buried in there.

Due note that the lesser quality functions even for the more powerful planetouched such as the demon troll and the Fey'Ri but should not be allowed for such races and limited to Gensai, Assimar and Teiflings.

I think the TL:DR answer would be that the official ones are all the ones in BilltheCynic's second link, while all the extra ones from his first link are extrapolated from the variant rule from Player's Guide to Faerun's variant rule on page 190, and switching out 'outsider' for 'planetouched' from the rule on page 191.

Wait...what? Is that IT? The entire change from the base Planetouched creature to the lesser version is to change them from 'Outsider' to 'Humanoid, Planetouched'? And that drops LA from +1 to 0?

Yup.

Per the Player's Guide to Faerun:

All lesser planetouched have the following racial trait in common, in addition to all the racial traits detailed elsewhere in this book.

• Planetouched: Planetouched are humanoids (not outsiders) with the planetouched subtype. They are susceptible to spells and effects that specifically target both humanoids or outsiders. Charm person works against them, and so does banishment. This trait replaces the outsider entry in each planetouched description.
That's it. That's the only change, and it removes the LA.

Now, here's the cheese part. The "Lesser Planetouched" are in the "Lesser Versions" section of how to play races with an LA, which basically allows you an option to play any of the listed races with an LA of +0 as opposed to the regular LA. The PGtF is talking about LA +1 Planetouched, like Tieflings and Aasimars, who are listed in the book. But, in theory, you could take a Planetouched race with a higher LA, such as Fey'ri, and turn it into a "Lesser" version with an LA of +0. Which is disgustingly broken.

It has 9 RHD, but the Mur-Zhagul (http://archive.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/iw/20030413b)is the planetouched troll I mentioned. You can void his +8 LA which is nice.
