I'm playing the gunslinger archtype that mat mercer made for 5e and I just don't feel like a gunslinger. So I talked with my DM and asked if I can homebrew my own archtype he said sure but let me read it first and we will talk about it. So I'm coming up with trick shots that are real trick shots like (ricocheted shot: when you take the attack action. You spend 3 grit points and take a -5 to the attack roll. If your target is behind full cover you learn to ricochet your bullets off of thing around you to hit them.) I have other trick shot not as powerful as this but they are all base off of real trick shots. So I want to get people's opinion and ideals for some trick shots.
