So can Totemists bind to their chakras late in the day similar to wizards prepping spells later in the day or do they have to bind immediately after 8 hours? Also can you hide binds at all?

I mainly don't want to have to have giriallion arms on all the time.

A totemist (like any other meldshaper) requires 8 hours rest and 1 hour of meditation to shape their melds. When shaping they must also chose their binds (if any). They must all be shaped at the same time. It doesn't say anything about being able to hide them and in fact implies that you cannot.

So I read that, but if you have 1 thing melded, and rest 8 hours do they unbind and can you seperate the hour of meditation from the 8 hours of rest.

Soulmelds remain bound to your chakra until you either unshape them or bind something else to that chakra. (This actually causes some dysfunctions with effects like the Open Chakra spells--they're supposed to only last 24 hours, but they don't unbind the soulmeld once the duration times out, so you just get to keep the bind indefinitely as long as you don't unshape that soulmeld.)

Binds are chosen when melds are shaped. If you don't choose to unshape the meld, the bind remains intact. It doesn't mention anything about being able to delay the meditation, but if you could you'd still need an hour of peace and quite in order to shape anything, regardless of how many (one could view this as "must rest for 8 and mediate for 1 to do any kind of shaping, whether unshaping or shaping new ones"). Though the text just before (which in some cases is disregarded as flavor text) does state that binds are shaped at the beginning of the day.

IIRC, soulmelds can be targeted like magic items, and so effects that hide magic items, such as (psionic) sequester, should work just fine on them.
