How would you build a Doomguide Paladin? I suppose Vengeance would work, but I don't think it has enough anti-undead to really fit. Perhaps a homebrew subclass?

What exactly is a Doomguide?

My party has a Doomguide who's Devotion. Devotion probably works for any of the "religious" paladins.

What exactly is a Doomguide?

Doomguides are the clerics that serve Kelemvor, the Faerunian God of the dead. He took over from Cyric, but he is quite different from Myrkul (the former god of death) in that his Clerics comfort those that are about to pass to the afterlife and the families of the recently deceased. He is Lawful Neutral and judges all those that pass though to the Fugue Plane and are not the false (those that feigned worship of a god) or the faithless (those that denied the gods or just paid lip service) fairly.

His priests also hunt down the undead and destroy them. To Kelemvor, the undead (with the exception of a handful of good undead) are abominations.

As for Doomguide Paladin, they don't really exist in FR, and the Death domain doesn't suit the lore of the doomguide at all. So until WotC bring out a Law Domain, Fate domain or make a specialist domain for Kelemvor, Devotion fits the best.
