Now this is a story all about how my
Life got flipped turned upside down
And I'd like to take a minute just sit right there
I'll tell you how I become the prince of a town called Bel-Air

In West Philadelphia born and raised
On the playground is where I spent most of my days
Chillin' out, maxin', relaxin', all cool
And all shootin' some b-ball outside o' the school
When a couple of guys, they were up to no good
Started makin' trouble in my neighborhood
I got in one little fight and my mom got scared
And said, "You're movin' with your auntie and uncle in a town called Bel-Air."

I whistled for a cab and when it came near
The license plate said fresh and it had dice in the mirror
If anything I could say that this cab was rare
But I thought, "Nah, forget it. Yo home to Bel-Air.

I pulled up to a house about 7 or 8
and i yelled to the cabby yo home smell ya later
looked at my kingdom i was finally there
To sit on my throne as the prince of Bel-Air.

Erm...yeah...because a post entirely of the Lyrics of The Fresh Prince is not the most random thing I've seen today...

Seriously, I used to love that show when they repeated it five or six years ago, and I haven't seen it since.

But addicted? Nah.

Battlestar Galactica.
I would add something else, but in fact Battlestar Galactica IS 10 letters.
That should inform you as to it's AWESOME.

Heroes without a doubt is the most addicting show I've yet come across.

Also, against all sanity and common sense... I've also become addicted to Family Guy.

Firefly, Drive, Andromeda, and The A-Team

I really like Speeders on Court TV. Half an hour just isn't enough!

Lost and The Office. Those are the only two TV shows that I watch on my own. And I never could understand all the hype about Heroes. I watched the first few episodes and just didn't find it that entertaining.

The VH-1 countdown shows, and "I love the 80's" espically when you're sick.

Twin Peaks. I recently purchased both seasons, and watched it all within a couple of days. The "just one more episode"-syndrome was strong, even though I should have been studying.

Desperate Housewives, ER, My Name is Earl and Ugly Betty. Ok DH and UglyBetty aren't exactly masculin but so what.

I found 24 extremely addictive. Not as addictive that I watched all episodes in one day, but two days was all I needed to see them all. And I found the second season equally or even more addictive. I can't wait to get my hands on the next seasons.

I have to watch the Colbert Report.
And the Office.

Two of the best shows, ever.

I will be the third to say "Heroes" is probably the most addicting show to date (for me, at least).
However, "Battlestar Galactica" is running a very close second as my husband and I catch up on the second and third seasons.

Heroes, Supernatural and Smallville. I didn't like/want to watch Smallville like the first 3 seasons, but my wife loved it and it's really grown on me now. I love Heroes and Supernatural about even, though. Mmmm.

As far as all-time addicting: A-Team, Firefly, Knight Rider and Knot's Landing. YOU HEARD ME, Knot's Landing.

The Office. I love that show.

... and maybe 'How Clean is Your House', on BBC. That show's addicting either because it's funny to see someone else get in trouble for their messes, or because the heat of summer has numbed my brain so much that I can get a laugh out of anything.

Doctor Who, I have been watching it since I was four.
Stargate, I own every season.
Battlestar Galactica, the original one from the '70s that was yanked off the air because it was to controversial (I haven't seen the new one yet, but it sounds kinda weird, I mean Starbuck a WOMAN?)

That was longer than I expected.

I have enough trouble finishing a single episode, let alone getting addicted. Also, my TV is broken.
That said, I do like The L Word, although I tend to read recaps rather than actually watching it, mostly due to the year or more gap between US and AUS tv.

Well, ever since I almost killed someone because they cancelled Stargate SG-1, I've decided I needed a new scifi addiction:

FARSCAPE!!!!!!

"Where am I?"
"In the village."
"What do you want?"
"Information."
"Whose side are you on?"
"That would be telling. Information. Information! INFORMATION!"
"You won't get it."
"By hook or by crook, we will."
"Who are you?"
"The new Number Two."
"Who is Number One?"
"You are Number Six."
"I am not a number, I am a free man!"

Boston Legal - I mean, come on. Billy Shatner as a senile love-god? Candice Bergman - wtf awesome. James Spader - Stargate fans drool. Plus the rest of the cast is just full of awesome and win.

Eureka - because it's original and funny and I like making fun of smart people like myself.

Dog Whisperer - Cesar is just so funny with the dog imitations, plus it's like, the people who call for help never watch the show. I'm getting to be quite good at controlling my own dog, and even the cat most days.

Pirate Master - it's so lame, its good. Chest of Zanzabar- and all those quests so nicely crafted for two teams. I mean, yeah. But I just can't not watch.

There's others, but they've been mentioned.

Peace!
