Hey guys so my group is starting a new campaign and I wanted to make rumble from lol in dnd for this campaign. We are starting at level 1 so I wanted to start with a halfling who would have a rusty old automaton he rode in. So I was wondering if you guys could help me make a build to make this character work. What feats I would take each level, what weapons I should have and, how would I use an automaton? Alright thanks guys I'm eager to see these character builds.

Ok so maybe automaton would be out of the question. But what else could work for rumbles mech suit?

I can only give you pathfinder advice, but I'm sure you can port over th class easily enough. You can't get Flamespitter until much higher levels and even only a few times a day. I would suggest a gnome Summoner with the Synthesist archetype. You basically get to summon a magical suit of protective armor which augments you an can give you new attacks. Flavor it as your mecha.

That sounds pretty good. Alright thanks for the info I'm excited to see more of these character ideas.

This is another Pathfinder suggestion, but check out the Aegis (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/psionics-unleashed/classes/aegis) class, it's sort of a more balanced version of the Synthesist, where you create a magical suit of armor that you add various bonuses to. The signature Aegis is a Blue (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/psionics-unleashed/races/blue) that looks an awful lot like a hairless Rumble (http://i1135.photobucket.com/albums/m633/PsyrenY/image-247124-full.jpg). There's even an archetype for the Blue Aegis in Ultimate Psionic that allows them to count as being larger in size when in their astral suit.

Oh that sounds pretty good. And thanks for the picture it does look like a hairless rumble.
