If I use give someone "animalistic power" and then buff them up more with cats grace or some stat boosting spell would they stack? So the +2 from animalistic power and the +4 from cats grace would make it +6 correct? Or would you just take the higher of the two?

Look at the type of bonus. If they're both Enhancement bonuses then you take the higher of the two. If their type is different they stack. Like how the enhancement bonus from Magic Weapon and the morale bonus from a Bard's Inspire Courage stacking because they're from different sources, whereas you can't spend 20,000 on ten +2 (gloves/boots/belt/vest/cloak/etc.) of strength to get +20 to your strength score because they're all Enhancement bonuses.

So in this case, no, they don't stack.

Animalistic power and Cat's Grace each give an enhancement bonus.

However AP gives +2 to all your physical stats. Cat's grace gives a higher bonus to dex, so you would have +4 from that spell to Dex, instead of the +2 from Animalistic power.

But the +2 to Str and Con from animalistic power would still be additional effects, and might be worth it (though probably not; there are probably better things to do with a standard action than that).

Just some additional information: Animalistic Power, for example, also would not stack with Gloves of Dexterity or a Belt of Giant Strength, because the standard ability score improving items also grant enhancement bonuses.

Calm down there Epic Meal Time. The only bonuses that stack with themselves are dodge and competence, neither are really going to help you here.
