were-rat Lab (Plot)

[Nightwing]

In the sewers is a lab were were-rats are created. The rat as they call him is the leader and the man that makes them.

[Nightwing]

*Pure appears on the floor*

[LordVader]

*Peru*
Raneus appears, weapons raised.
Raneus radios Jarus asking where Raneus is.
((Note: you have to tell me more or less where the building is, since Jarus can sense Raneus's presence.))
The stormtroopers begin to home in on Raneus's transmissions.

[Nightwing]

The stormtroopers do not in fact appear (see my last post in the sewer).


((it is on the north end of the sewers))

*20 were rats armed with shot guns aim there weapons at Peru and Raneus*

"Drop the weapons" says the rat.

[LordVader]

Raneus laughs.
Haha, you're funny.
He raises his power sword, and rushes the rats while blasting away at them with his bolt pistol(.75 cal with explosive shells). Also, a platoon of Stormtroopers will shortly be headed in this direction, due to the fact that Jarus can locate Raneus.

[Vhaidara]

Through a teleportation fluke, E appears right behind the were rats, in the form of a female human, that quickly grows into a were rat

[LordVader]

Raneus notices this, and curses.
Him, too? Crap.
(to E)
I'm not here to hurt you, so just leave, please.

[Nightwing]

((There is magical shield around here. the teleportation will work, but your friend wont be able to sense you.))

*The were rats fire at raneus*

[LordVader]

All the shots spatter off of a force field around him. He charges into the rats, and begins swinging. ((note: power sword is like a lightsaber in that it cuts through most things and has an energy field around it.))
He uses the radio as an impromptu beacon, then. It's less accurate, but will still work, it'll just take a little longer.

[Vhaidara]

I didn't even mean to come here! Your friend startled me!
E's voice seems oddly feminine.
Really Ehlana, you should let me do the talking here. Raneus, stop fighting, and call off your backup. We'll need these were rats to find their leader
This voice sounds more like Raneus probably expected.
The were rat that is E grapples Raneus, being extremely careful not to actually hurt him.

[LordVader]

Very well. My backup's still coming, though.
I'll stop attacking you, but I'm keeping my weapons!
Raneus attempts to break E's grapple, without hurting him, of course.

[Vhaidara]

E releases Raneus.
We have much to discuss.

[LordVader]

Yes, like why you keep killing my men! What did we do to you?
((Sorry about your pet, dude. I know how it feels.))

[Vhaidara]

To put it simply, I need thralls. I was forced to give almost every one I had to some demiplane so that it would leave Raril alone. I won't attack your troops anymore, provided they don't attack me.

[LordVader]

Deal. Although I should warn you, you should dispose of the psykers, as they will be possessed by daemons, and that can lead to a catastrophe.

[Vhaidara]

A moments pause.
Done. I mean the psyker problem.
I'm surprised you don't want to know what's been going on. Why he wanted Raril, for example!

[LordVader]

Wait, you're the one who took Raril? Why?

[Vhaidara]

Raril is a bit like E now. In the sense that he contains one of my sisiters.

[Nightwing]

*Bullets continue to shoot at Rareul and E*

[LordVader]

Raneus's shield deflects them all.

He begins blasting again with his bolt pistol.

(Nightwing, E is currently one of the were rats, and Raneus agreed to go.)

Raneus emerges from deadtime.

*The were rats are killed. The rat grabs a gun and aims it Peru*

E emerges from deadtime
Raneus, you are truely an idiot. I'm a were-rat right now, and you just about gave me away!

Well, he's going to talk anyways, and we can always kill him to keep your cover. I may be an "idiot", but at least I don't go around attacking innocents and experimenting on them.:smallamused:

[Vhaidara]

Of my four test subjects, only Raril was innocent. My second let it happen. She could have resisted, for she was a minor god. My third had just attempted to burn down Trog's. I myself was the fourth.

[LordVader]

So, what should we do with him?

[Vhaidara]

The rat or this murderer?

[LordVader]

The rat. Also, I don't think he's the murderer, but rather, he's complicit in one.

[Nightwing]

I'm not a murderer!

[LordVader]

((That was talking in telepathy, he can't hear it. Italics means telepathy.))
Disregard that last, he can't hear us.

[Vhaidara]

I have an idea. Your psyker buddies were able to keep me out of their minds and the soldier's' minds. Could you do the opposite and get me into its mind?

[LordVader]

What do you mean? I'm not shielding the rat. Of course you can!

[Nightwing]

"Time for my escape!"

*He opens a portal and tries to run in to it, but Peru rams him and jumps in. Then the portal closes*

[Vhaidara]

I meant get any defenes it might have out of the way. I'm good at the control, but not as good at getting through the defenses.
(And Nightwing, why is the rat running? It doesn't have any idea that one of its companions [E] is conversing with Raneus. E is currently shapeshifted into a were-rat.)

[Nightwing]

((all his rats are dead except for you, and you are not doing ant thing.))

((Nightwing, you have to give us a chance to stop them from escaping, or it's godmodding))
Since what just occured was godmodding, as Peru and the rat jump up, Raneus levels his hellpistol and fires two shots (at stun level), at point-blank range.

[Vhaidara]

(Yeah, because the rats won! Raneus agreed to come.)

[LordVader]

((Also, Bookboy, they're not going anywhere, since Nightwing godmodded to let them get away. Raneus is perfectly capable of stopping them, and so is E- for an IC explanation, just say Raneus used the psychic powers))

[Vhaidara]

E reaches out with his psionic abilities and attempts to control the rat. If detected, which is HIGHLY unlikely, it will appear to come from Raneus.

[LordVader]

((Therefore, Nightwing, neither of them escape. I'm going to be frank, you godmod way too much. Please work on it, okay?:smallsmile:))
Raneus will continue to fire stun shots until they are both stunned.

E attmepts to work his way into the rat's mind, bring it back to conciousness if he is able to take control over it.

The rat stands back up, then E has an idea that would make things simpler, and help him at the same time. He attempts to eat the rat's brain.

(If he succeeds, I need bas creature, as well as any classes and levels. Also, deadtime)

((Just for the record, Peru cannot be anywhere near the portal. That is all.))

[Nightwing]

((The rat is fifth level npc were rat. He is a were rat. Why isn't Peru near the portal?))

(Base Creature means what was he before he became a were-rat. A human? An elf?)

E uses the information just extracted from the were-rat to find the way to the were-rat leader.

(He is speaking to both Raneus and Peru.)

((He was a human. You just eat the rat leader. at least he was the rat leader in the sewers, there are rat leaders with rat armies all over town. ))

[Vhaidara]

(When I said leader, I meant the guy that's been making all of them.)

[Nightwing]

((yes, this is the guy that has been making all the ones in the sewers. There are still more leaders that make them out there in various places.))

[Vhaidara]

E sees if he can salvage any brains from the bodies.

[LordVader]

((Peru isn't near the portal, because he was lying on the floor, and the rat wasn't adjacent to him. Thus, in the time it takes him to scramble to his feet, Raneus can shoot him before he gets up and dives for the portal.))

[Nightwing]

*There are about 7 undamaged brains. they all dont seem to notes any thing*

((That's why he was on the floor. And even if the rat was adjacent, which you never specified, Raneus will still shoot Peru before he can get up off of the floor entirely.))

E eats the remaining brains and looks overjoyed about his new thralls.

((Alright then. But in this case, where it would make a lot of difference, you should say whether or not he does. It's not so basic once it determines whether or not he escapes.))
Peru does indeed fall through the portal, destination unknown.
((I'm still not sure about this, actually))

[Nightwing]

((Dont worry. Peru is just leading you to gage.))

[Vhaidara]

The new thralls, as well as E dissappear.

[LordVader]

Raneus activates his sword, cuts through the wall, and heads back through the Sewers.
((Actually, Peru wouldn't have stood up because of all the rats with shotguns, but whatev.))
