Can you proc hex with booming blade

As titled ask if I cast hex and the cast booming blade. Then move and the guy follows does hex damge works with booming blade effect of the creature moving.

No. Hex is additional damage "whenever you hit it with an attack". The extra damage on BB is triggered if they move. It triggering does not constitute you hitting it with an attack. You do get the Hex damage when you initially hit with Booming Blade, but not when they take the thunder damage from moving.
