What is the result of the Orc Bloodline Arcana effecting Magic Missile ?

Hey everyone !

I'm puzzled with how the Orc Bloodline effects Magic Missile. If I understand it correctly, when I cast a CL 5 Magic Missile I instantly have 3 missiles firing away, Im going to roll 3 dice as a result of casting the spell.

Do I then:
- add 1 damage per missile because I roll one die per missile
or
- add 3 damage per magic missile because I'm rolling three dice in total ?

Ive been googling quite alot to find an answer to my question but havent been able to find an answer yet.

Precisely. Instead of 3d4+3 damage, you'll do 3d4+6 total.

Hmmmm.......the Arcana says it adds 3 damage to the spell, total (one per die). So I think the first one is the most accurate assessment (the second would lead to it adding 9 damage, not 3). Except I'm not seeing any reason you need to divy up the +3 damage you get evenly among the missiles. As far as I see, you can make one missile +3, and the others +0; make one +2, another +1, and a third +0; or make them all +1.

Caster level 5 = 3 missiles

Each missile does 1d4+1 damage

Orc bloodline adds +1 damage for each die rolled

Each missile rolls ONE d4.

Each missile does (1d4+1)+1 = 1d4+2
