rules question: multiple smites per round?

I'm AFB at the moment, but I wanted to know if a level 5+ paladin (who gets more than one melee attack per round) can smite on each of her attacks in that round.

There is no turn or round restriction on Divine Smite. You can use it on every hit as long as you have spell slots to expend. This includes AoOs.
