I al looking for advise on how to create an IMBA knight.

The following are the few constraints.

Human, level 12, longsword wielding, non[full] caster.

So far I was thinking some form of fighter/paladin mix, with tranble and great cleave, with a valourous weapon, and spiritied charge, but I'm unsure if the is powerful enought.?

ANy thought are welcome.

Seems like a typical sorcadin would work out here? Paladin 2/sorcerer 4/Spellsword 1/Abjurant Champion 5/Sacred Exorcist 8 is the typical build, gets you 16 BAB, 18th level sorcerer casting and a whole heap of goodies along the way.

IMBA Knight? I'm not sure what that is...

Moving through the ranks though? Maybe any character with spring attack and maxing out ranks in tumble?

Spring attack says that it lets you move before and after an 'attack action', as long as you move at least 5 feet. At worst, this would let you jump in there, attack, and move on. At best, well, 'attack action' isn't actually defined anywhere, so your DM might let you move around between attacks in a 'full attack action'.

A DC 25 tumble check lets you move through enemy occupied areas without provoking attacks of opportunity.

********

Or, you could have no ranks in tumble, but have the combat reflexes and robilar's gambit feats. Then, as you rush through enemy spaces, they will get attacks of opportunity against you, but you can retaliate against a number of them. Then, when you stop, you can make an attack (maybe with spring attack or pounce).

I've actually looked into this like of inquiry before, and it's possible to make something very scary (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showsinglepost.php?p=17562303&postcount=94). Spring Attack gets a line of feats in the Player's Handbook 2 (Bounding Assault and Rapid Blitz) for extra attacks during the movement (two attacks during movement via Bounding Assault, three attacks during movement via Rapid Blitz). Bounding Assault has a prerequisite of +12 BAB, which is fully achievable if we go for classes with full BAB.

Combine this with Iaijutsu Master 8, from Oriental Adventures. One Strike, Two Cuts applies to any standard attack action, which the Spring Attack line gives multiples of, and lets you make a second attack at the same attack bonus. It also gets a bunch of abilities which a synergistic with intelligence and charisma. It does require you to use a katana, but they're mechanically identical to bastard swords.

I'd recommend a combination of Fighter, Hexblade (Complete Warrior) or Paladin, Iaujutsu Master, and Blade Dancer (Oriental Adventures). You'll have a bunch of movement speed, and you'll also have a bunch of attacks to make across that movement speed. Bounding Assault comes online at level 12, and One Strike, Two Cuts at level 14.

What you want is Overrun.

No, really - take the Cavalry Charger feat, use the Fell Trample maneuver. You can now make unlimited Overrun attempts, presumably as long as your horse has movement. Combo that with Valenar Trample, and both you and your mount get to make an attack against each guy that you overrun. Stick a bunch of speed boosts on your horse, and now you're charging through hordes of dudes.

Alternatively, take Streetfighter barbarian substitution levels. At level 19 you end up with the amazing Cleaving Charge - when you charge and drop a foe on the first hit, you can keep right on charging as long as you have movement left. As long as your first attack is powerful enough, and you have enough movement, you can kill everything in sight.

Since you need to take Spirited Charge for Cavalry Charger, you might as well go both routes, and be a guy who can trample with the best of them and charge when necessary. Sadly, Streetfighter is exclusive with taking Paladin for its special mount (using the mount rules in the back of the DMG, add the Half-Celestial template to a regular horse for a great boost in speed). But a barbarian rider can take Mounted Fury and share his rage with his mount, for a truly monstrous Strength score.

Cleric of Heironeous 4/Ordained Champion 5/Prestige Paladin 3. Take Battle Blessing, if you can convince your GM that you cast paladin spells.
