I've never played anything ToB/PoW, but the War Soul archetype looks interesting. Any advice on building a Soulknife [War Soul][Deadly Fist]?

I apologize for the lack of links in advance but if you search for path of war expanded and soulknife augmented you will find a lot of new (and awesome) resources!

What type of character do you want to play? How do you envision them? I can offer some more direct suggestions once I know that.

I've got a soft spot for monks, so a character that that does kung-fu better than a monk AND whose hands are magic (or rather psionic) weapons is even cooler.

EDIT: And where should I look them up? There aren't much in the way of guides for soulknives, and the one I found here is incomplete, and that's before the new stuff from Psionics Augmented.

Alright, so to outmonk the monk there are a few fun ways to go.

First off with Path of War Expanded (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?444869-Dreamscarred-Press-Path-of-War-Expanded!-(Thread-VII)) you automatically gain access to Sleeping Goddess (https://docs.google.com/document/d/1cSrQNi5Fu0JnXsfe3MrooaZZOFS03vGO3Xw1ayo0LTk/edit) and I recommend using the rules in the Systems Expanded Section (near the bottom) (https://docs.google.com/document/d/1UzzPibcqPZObXZ-IoLrd4ikiT6KWiaq92irAJHfIxzc/edit) to swap out Solar Wind for Riven Hourglass (https://docs.google.com/document/d/1rmHuI_JcLiDJ2_g0jyrP0lQ1a8wyXh-yL4-3njLpnZk/edit) for lots of great self buffs and some intense hampering of enemies.

I recommend taking Telekinetic Athletics and Ghost Step from Psionics Augmented (https://docs.google.com/document/d/1XZ7YUgvH7vgDqJvJs8vaQYCPV6K6wh8YAbW_ElFUHX4/mobilebasic) to gain a lot of mobility. The improved Psychokinetic Discharge will be great at higher levels to attack enemies at range without ever needing to grab another weapon.

This is all assuming you want to wear light armor. If no armor is what you have in mind you can go for Mind Armor and Improved Mind Armor for a +4 to AC and still be considered not wearing any armor.

These are all pretty general suggestions rather than a specific build but I hope they help getting you a few steps in the right direction!

It's food for thought. Thanks!
