PF - How Many Tarrasques Does It Take To Kill Mogaru?

It's kind of Pathfinder's Equivalent of the Tarrasque.

I would say two at most would actually curb-stomp the Mogaru. Yes the Mogaru has a fair bit more damage and AC, BUT it has less fast healing than the Tarrasque has REGENERATION and much less HP and to hit. In a straight slugging match it would KO the Tarrasque in about 7 rounds, two less than it would take the Tarrasque to KO it. If it keeps on beat the Tarrasque the Mogaru would win.

HOWEVER the Tarrasque's base grapple is EQUAL to Mogaru's CMD so if the Tarrasque tried to Grapple it would auto-win, auto pin and then just like sudo-slam or constrict the Mogaru to death. Therefore two of them would definitely wreck the Mogaru's face.

On the Flip side the Mogaru can kite effectively, but it's fire-bolts and breath weapon would be useless vs the Tarrasque's Carapace.

1 Tarrasque is all it takes. Mogaru can't (normally) cast Wish or Miracle, so it can't permanently kill the Tarrasque. After enough rematches, the Tarrasque will probably be able to get a good enough string of high rolls to kill Mogaru.

Reading that carapace ability, it might only take a lucky reflection of the big breath attack to turn the tide and kill it one on one. If im reading the description right, he cant heal himself with his own breath attack so im assuming that includes when his attack gets reflected back at him for a third of his hp in an instant.

Because we're level 17+ and our Bard can't fail the check to command Mogaru. We also have claimed the spaceship from the Iron Gods AP and it has habitat domes where we can leave the kaiju sleeping. If we ever lose the ship woe betide whosoever claims it after we're gone.

Or we can drop him from orbit/teleport him to the surface of planets as a tactical kaiju weapon. The question was asked so casually I thought I'd see how the Playground weighed in on it.

Now we just need a reliable way to command the Tarrasque and we're set. :smalltongue:

Not really. It's a skill check. You do not fail skill checks on a 1. And there's a cumulative 20% chance Mogaru notices the song during combat. And the Bard in question is a Ghoul who boosted Cha for the extra hp and class related bonuses.

Don't get me wrong, we are strong and that Bard is our strongest party member. Mogaru is just also kind of a pushover thanks to that weakness to song.
