Hi, Playground! With the ongoing popularity of the Dungeons & Dreamboats thread, I realized people might need a place to share and request theme songs for characters, if they're so inclined. Feel free to share your own character's themes, give suggestions for themes to others, and even just post music in the hopes that someone might enjoy using it.

I'll start it off:

For one of my PbP characters, Ankhit. They're a relatively hyper fencer with some rather psychotic tendencies. I thought Tarantella would be a good fit for their personality.

As for another one, Ranthwyl, I chose Witch Doctor by De Staat. He wants the whole world to dance to his drum beat and see his perception of the world.

And one request:

For my last PbP character: Kadic is a relatively young catfolk artificer, with a rather dark outlook on life, tragic history, and a grey sense of morals, who pours his affection into his machines instead of others. He left his family and seeks to avoid becoming a disappointment to them. Any ideas? My first one was (in a non-literal sense) Murder By Death's I'm Coming Home (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D3llU-smhnQ), but that doesn't quite fit perfectly. Any ideas?

A boss battle theme, useful as... well, a boss battle theme.

I'm using it for one of the recurring villains in my fanfic, a psychopatic brawler with the power to control kinetic energy - which lets him switch between being an unstoppable force or an unmovable object

I have a few of them I've used in my own campaign, though I generally don't announce them as such and I'm not sure whether the players have picked up on them. Then again, it doesn't help that one of my other players usually provides the gaming music unless I specifically ask him to let me do it.

1. I took a Verdant Prince, refluffed him a bit, and gave him Bard levels until he was sort of an insane Fey version of the Goblin King. For a character like that I absolutely needed a theme song, and I ended up with "Run Boy Run" by Woodkid: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lmc21V-zBq0

2. My game is set in Tethyr in the Forgotten Realms (where I pay at best a very loose respect to the canon). King Haedrak and Queen Zaranda have shown up a few times in the story, and they share a theme song, Kamelot's "Regalis Apertura." https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YemLOj7Tg9o

3. This was a one-off character that I'd like to use again, but I haven't found a way to fit him into the story. Basically a fantasy version of Clint Eastwood's Man With No Name, but with an added undead curse and the 3.0 Ghostwalker prestige class. His theme is the song "Artistry in Death" from the Ghost Rider soundtrack: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ltN2zjVcoc0
