What Azure City needs right now.

What Azure City needs are a few good necromancers (or necromancy capable wizards) of at least 9th level and with Intelligence scores of at least 15. This will give them access to the spell Graft Flesh, if the spell is converted to 3.5 edition. Just send these necromancers around to reattach severed limbs and heads as long as this doesn't put them in harm's way. Does any one else endorse this plan?

I agree with Recursive. How would this help? The battle for Azure City is lost--reattaching a few lost limbs to get the few remaining wounded back into the fight isn't going to make a gnat's worth of difference in the long run. They need to rebuild an army if they're going to retake the city.

Several of the Might and Magic games had a spell called Armageddon that would kill every creature, both good and evil, on the same outdoor map as you happened to be on. There was something similar in the Ultima games as well (but it wouldn't kill Lord British, and he'd generally be quite narked that you'd destroyed all his citizens :smallsmile: ).

It's simple really. You can't use raise dead on a headless corpse, right. See if you use graft flesh to reattach heads to bodies you raise from the dead much more easilly than you normaly could. My plan isn't for the short term battle, it's for when the armies of Redcloak and Xykon leave and before Kotuba arrives. You might also need necromancers who can cast the spell corpse host to retrive the bodies and fight off the goblins and hobgoblins.
