Hello dear members

One of my players has an item with the revivify spell in it. Does that mean that every time that drops below the 0 hp the item restore him into life ??? The spell has a range of : dead person touched and that is what troubles me!!!

Unless it's an intelligent item then no. The item would have to be activated by someone, probably as a standard action. What kind of item is it, specifically?

"An item with the revivify spell in it" could mean a scroll or rod, in which case, no, somebody would have to use it on him. Or it could mean, like, a use-activated item of revivify (with its "use" involving falling over dead), in which case probably yes. You'll have to be more specific.
