I'm going to be rolling up a new character soon. I'm looking for ideas I have played.
Fighter archer warlock with devil's sigh cheese.
Shadow monk with 2 Warlock: dip for the same cheese as fighter.
Wizard adj:
Ranger hunter bow:
Paladin only lv 3 before died:
Fighter gunslinger:

Try a bard. Valor for melee, or lore for spellcasting, you'll have fun either way. Remember the power of the suggestion spell! It will make you strong.
Barbarians and sorcerers are also fun.

Dude, what happened to the greatsword wielding monk and the greatsword specialist you asked for advice on in the last two days?

Not working out for ya?

Gnome Conjuration Wizard who takes the Keen Mind feat at level 4 for the level 2 Minor Conjuration abuse. (Can conjure 'anything' you've spent time observing that is less then 3' by 3')

Half Orc Barbarian Criminal (Enforcer) who grabs the Shield Master feat at level 4. Wear Medium armor, have 14 dex, pop rage and you're shoving people with the bonus action with advantage while recklessly attacking anyone you haven't shoved prone. You have a solid AC, you're taking half damage from rage, and you're hitting like a truck.

Human Rogue 2/Cleric xx (any archetype will work, but one with potent cantrip would be ideal) who takes the Observant feat at level 1 as well as Expertise in Perception. At level 1, you're going to have at least a 22 passive perception, and it only goes up from there (I notice everything build, and have the mobility/ranged ability to stay at a distance).

Halfling Paladin (Devotion or OotA) who uses a Longbow and rides a Spider (or something that can climb walls/hang from ceilings, pick this up from the Find Steed spell at level 5). If you have a good enough dex for it, pick up the Sharpshooter feat asap (using bless and/or your Channel Divinity Sacred Weapon to offset the -5)

There are plenty of ideas out there, you just gotta dig for them!

Edited - change passive perception from 21 to 22.
