So my homegroup is going to have a major fight waiting for us when we meet next.

Our party (all 7th level):

- Worgen Vengeance Paladin with a Greataxe (myself)
- Halfling Ghostslayer Blood Hunter (two-weapon fighting)
- Human Rogue 3 / Mystic 4 (the melee mystic; i forget the name)
- Moon Druid
- Warlock (not sure what Pact/Patron)

We also have a Blue Dragon on our side (for the time being anyway).

The enemies:

- Drow Priestess of Lolth (probably only 1)
- Drow Mage (at least 1; probably more)
- Drow Elite Warriors (at least 2; probably more)
- A massive Ooze that's basically a homebrew combination of all ooze types
- Whatever other crazy **** the DM dreams up (he likes to homebrew monsters)

We're fighting underground in the Priestesses lair. The dragon is on our side because we promised to free him from the Priestess, who had been holding him captive since he was an egg.

Obviously, we can't prepare for the homebrew stuff, but do y'all have any thoughts on what to do with the other monsters?

At the moment, I've got Wrathful Smite prepared, along with Bane, Bless, Hunter's Mark, Cure Wounds, Shield of Faith, Hold Person, Misty Step, and Find Steed.

I can't really control what the rest of the party prepares, but I can suggest tactics and the like.

Another thought I had while considering what my character would do.

He may consider challenging the Priestess to single combat.

So how could a 7th level Vengeance Paladin solo a Priestess of Lolth? I'm wearing Chain Mail using a +1 Greataxe.

Hmm.... would a daylight spell help against all those Drow ?

It would, though as a 7th level Paladin I don't have access to it yet. AFAIK, none of the other party members have it prepared either.
