Concept/Argument: Bladelocks, with the glowing blade summoned at will, mind-control spells and invocations, and fluff of seeking power, make a better Sith than Monks.
Test: Build a Bladelock, focused on your idea of a Sith. No multiclassing; while starting with 2 levels of Paladin for the tasty Smite fed with Warlock spell slots is nice for DPR, a Pal2/Bladelock doesn't fulfill concept until 5th level.
I'd like it to be Adventure League legal, so that it would be universally acceptable.
I don't mind forgoing Armor of Shadows to keep Light Armor; not only is +1AC not worth an Invocation, but some Sith and Jedi wore armor.
I'd prefer a level by level build, to see what starting spells are replaced as the character increases in level.
