Double cast

While looking through my extensive collection of various CDs and cartridges I have scattered about my humble abode, I thought of this metamagic feat based off a game I have played. This is my first attempt at a metamagic feat

Name: doublecast

Requirements: ability to cast two 2nd level spells, int 16

Effect: The caster can cast two spells at the same time by using up two higher level spell slots. Spells affected by this take the same ammount of time the longer spell does. They also take a spell level equal to the two spells levels being added. The same spell can be cast twice using this spell. Cantrips add one to the effective of the spell being cast instead of zero

I presume that is an Int of 16, not an Int Modifier of +16 (i.e. an Int of 42...:smalleek:).
