Superhero Question

A player of mine in an upcoming M&M game wants to play a character who is a young woman who can raise the dead. But she is going to be mostly unpowered & instead will rely on a ghost knight bodyguard that is tied to an old sword she carries.

Should she stat the knight as her character & the girl as a sidekick/minion or is it possible to do it the other way effectively?

I would stat her up with the sword as a device which has Summons to bring out and bind the ghost to her.

The ghost knight should be a sidekick with a lot of points invested in. 20-30 points from the young woman should be the right amount? That'll make the knight smashy and tough enough.
