Suggestions for a Arcanist

I'm wanting to make a blade adept twf arcanist thats going to become an EK, any suggestions other then picking asamar? i was also thinking about going dex based and picking up dervish dance as well as twf. but im open to all suggestions.

First, some questions:
1) What system (Pathfinder, 3.5, 3.0, pf.5, 3.pf, other)?
2) What character resources are you starting with (stat rolls, point buy, level, gold)?
3) How far do you expect the game to progress?
4) How long are you willing to wait for the "sweet spot" of a build?
5) How much optimization do you want?

Neither casting nor dervish dance is compatible with normal TWF. You need a free hand, and I wouldn't be surprised if there was a FAQ which says that you can't even use the off hand to attack unarmed at the same time as dervish dance.

The Aasimar SLA (& similar) hasn't worked for prestige class qualification for a while now.

It's still doable to make a blade adept/EK, but it's not as good as it was. In many ways straight magus will be better.

#1 pathfinder.
#2 25 point buy, level 4, 6k gold.
#3 who knows.
#4 I'm pretty patient
#5 as much as possible.
