Is there a juvenile version of the aboleth in the Pathfinder canon? I'm looking for something that would be CR 3-4ish, serving as a hidden menace for a low-level scenario.

Or if not an aboleth per se, maybe something more or less aboleth-y? Evil submerged scheming dominator sort of thing?

Even with a young template, an aboleth is going to be too strong.

Not much at the 3-4CR level that is going to have illusion magic or really much casting. A Ceratioidi (http://www.dxcontent.com/MDB_MonsterBlock.asp?MDBID=389) is a less powerful fish that could lure the party to their doom. A Faceless Stalker (http://www.dxcontent.com/MDB_MonsterBlock.asp?MDBID=628) were the pawns of aboleths and could disguise and try to infiltrate the party.

Grab something (like a reefclaw?), and add sorcerer levels or apply the simple class template - sorcerer template if the base creature has 5-7 HD.
