I've looked up the Internet a bit but I couldn't find any way for a PC to become Deathless. Does this mean there are none? That's what this thread (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?94537-Deathless-template-and-LA) seems to say, but then, people might be more knowledgeable in 2016 than in 2008.

The Sacred Watcher template is the only template that grants the Deathless type.

There is also the Risen Martyr PrC in the BoED, but it is pretty bad. It doesn't advance any prior abilities, only grants some random immunities and a few SLAs, has a horrible BAB, and the capstone is permanent death.

Oh okay, so there's nothing playable at all. That's sad.

Ask your DM to houserule a necropolitian with the type changed to Deathless and some of its abilities switched around.

In theory, this is to stop a player from becoming a deathless to extend their own life - something that is vaguely antithetical to being deathless.

You might look to some eberron sources for a clue, particularly as pertains to the aereni elves.

In all honesty, it would not be difficult to take any of the non-mindless undead templates (like Vampire or Lich) and change a few things around so they are "deathless" instead of "undead." Vampire would probably be the hardest, at least of the ones in core

Is this to meet some prereq? Unless that is the case you could be a necropolitan and get the same benefits.

The poor advancement only comes into play if you're expected to gain levels.
